The Nun ll Movie Review

Nun ll is a rated R sequel of The Nun that takes place in London, in the 1950’s. The sequel
branches off from the original. It begins with the Nun (Valak) murdering the priest at the
boarding school in quest for the eyes of St. Mary. Sister Irene and Debra are sent in pursuit of
discovering the purpose of Valak’s return. In the end, Valak attempts to set Irene ablaze, but
Valak is banished back to hell through the Blood of Christ. The thrilling soundtrack added
immersiveness towards the suspense of the jumpscares. The soundtrack aided in the
spontaneity in Valak’s appearances, to the point where it made your heart jump. The message
from the movie in addition can correspond to our overall faith. Overall, the plotline mirrors the
everyday spiritual challenges we face with our faith resisting the temptation of Satan. After
watching and analyzing the movie, I would rate The Nun ll a 7/10.
