the visa application may be refused, or, if a visa has already been issued, the applicant may be expelled from
Germany. In signing this document, the applicant certifies that, before submitting the application, she or she was
informed of the legal consequences of refusing to provide data or furnishing false or incomplete information in the
visa application process.

I have been informed that after entering the Federal Republic of Germany, a savings account with a balance of
10.332€ must be presented to the responsible aliens authority in order to apply for a residence permit. In addition,
this account must bear the following notice: only 1/12 of the amount may be withdrawn from this account each
month.
I have also been informed that I am required to carry the above-mentioned sum in cash while entering the territory
of the Federal Republic of Germany. I will be turned back at the border of the Schengen treaty area should I not be
able to present the sum of 10.332€ upon entry.
Furthermore, I have been made aware of the customs regulations of the European Union (www.zoll.de).
 I agree that the Embassy may contact me regarding any queries using the contact details provided in my application
form.

 I understand that the visa section can only communicate with me personally or additionally with a representative
designated by me.

 In the event of a rejection, I agree to receive the letter of rejection by e-mail to the e-mail address provided in the
application form. The mailbox of this e-mail address is regularly checked.
