NARRATIVE REPORT
FIRST QUARTERLY EXAMINATION
SY 2023-2024

Introduction

The first periodical test for the academic year 2023-2024 was conducted on
October 26 and 27, 2023, at San Jose National High School. This assessment
marked an essential milestone in evaluating the students' understanding of the
curriculum and their progress in the first quarter. The examination covered a wide
range of subjects, aiming to assess the knowledge and skills acquired during the
initial weeks of the academic year.

Preparation and Organization

The faculty and staff of San Jose National High School diligently prepared for
the first quarterly examination. The test schedules were communicated to students
and parents well in advance, ensuring that everyone was aware of the examination
dates. Teachers reviewed the test content to guarantee its alignment with the
curriculum, and the necessary facilities and materials were made available.

Test Administration

On October 26 and 27, students arrived at school promptly, well-prepared

for the examinations. Class Adviser, Mrs. Mary Grace M. Aquino ensured a smooth
and secure testing environment. The examination questions were thoughtfully
designed to assess various cognitive levels, including knowledge recall,
comprehension, application, and analysis. The test durations were appropriate,
allowing students ample time to complete the assessments.

Student Participation

The participation rate was nearly 100%, as students from Grade 9-Honesty,
diligently attended the examinations. This demonstrated their commitment to their
education and their understanding of the importance of regular assessments in
their learning journey.
