 Responsible for taking approval from Cost Consultant by submitting a cost estimate for the variance with detailed take
off and summary of overall calculation
 Verifying and certifying of the sub-contractor's monthly submissions for payment with overall accountability of
executing of the joint measurements for finalization of the works accordingly
 Reviewing, assessing and certifying Sub Contractors claims, including analysis of sub-contractors rates for new items
 Designing and preparing specifications, contract documents, and estimates of cost for various projects;
 Maintaining effective relations with clients, consultants, sub-contractors and various utility authorities and departments;
 Recommends and implements section goals and objectives; establishes performance standards and methods for the
design, construction and administration of Capital Projects.
 Plans, develops and oversees the work of staff involved in the office and field activities.
 Possessing excellent foresight, understanding of workspace and plan ahead when working on construction projects
 Acknowledged agility in maintaining perfect coordination with all involved agencies - Architects, consultants, client,
subcontractors, site engineers, and suppliers to ensure bottleneck free project implementation.
 Strong knowledge of standard methods of measurements, including SMM7, while possessing proficiency in Desktop
applications like AutoCAD, MS Office & Primavera
 Evaluates operations and activities of assigned sections; implements improvements and modifications; prepares various
reports on operations and activities.
 Establishes and refines the scope of work, project budgets, timelines, design criteria and construction.
 Develops, monitors project budgets and timelines; meets with project teams to discuss, resolve project status, issues.
 Support the Project Manager and management team to monitor the progress of works and ensure that the development,
design, construction, testing and financial targets are met and effect remedial action where required
 Assist with Project planning and resource allocation for projects in sufficient time to ensure that they can be provided
 Responsible for Quantities of both Civil & MEP works for the quantity take-off, preparation, submission
 Accountable for preparing bar schedules for steel requirements of structural elements while proactively liaising with
structural engineers
 Preparing and submitting progress claims and following up with relevant parties while reporting to the management
 Tracking of the changes and establishing of variations and claims for both civil works while proactively taking measures
to establish rates for new items in variations
