INTRODUCTION

I. Profile of the Company

I.1 Definition

Tahu Syfa, nestled on Cihanjuang Street No. 344 in Cihanjuang Rahayu,


Parongpong District, West Bandung Regency, West Java 40559, stands as a testament to
tradition and expertise in the realm of tofu production. Founded on January 20, 2005,
this artisanal enterprise has carved a niche in the market, specializing in the craft of tofu
with a legacy spanning 18 years.

This culinary haven traces its roots through the annals of time, as the baton of
success was passed from one generation to the next. Mr. Hendra, the current custodian
of this culinary legacy, embodies the seamless transition from founder to successor.
Under his stewardship, Tahu Syfa has not only endured but flourished. The heart of
Tahu Syfa beats with the collective dedication of its 12 industrious employees. Each
member of this tight-knit team contributes to the alchemy that transforms soybeans into
delectable blocks of tofu. The synergy within the factory walls reflects not only a
commitment to quality but a familial bond that mirrors the generational ethos of the
business.

Within the factory’s confines, precision intertwines with tradition. From the
rhythmic hum of machinery to the aromatic whispers of soybean transformation, every
aspect of the tofu-making process is a choreography of skill and heritage. Tahu Syfa
stands as a living chronicle of the tofu-making art, a beacon of resilience and flavor in
the heart of West Bandung.

As the sun sets on another day at Tahu Syfa, it casts its warm glow on a legacy
that continues to evolve while remaining rooted in its origins. The journey from soybean
to tofu at this humble establishment is not just a culinary process; it’s a narrative that
unfolds with each savory bite, inviting patrons to savor not just a product, but a story –

the story of Tahu Syfa.

I.2 Company Stucture

The company, led by the astute Mr. Hendra, boasts a meticulously organized framework
comprising various specialized departments. The cornerstone of operations lies in the
Department of Grinding, where a dedicated team of two individuals employs their expertise
to refine raw materials with precision and finesse.

Parallelly, the Department of Minting operates seamlessly with two adept professionals at its
helm, skillfully crafting and shaping products to meet the highest standards. The intricate
artistry extends to the Department of Tofu Yellowing Process, where two skilled individuals
employ their nuanced understanding to ensure the impeccable quality of the final product.

The journey towards the end product continues through the Department of Packing, where a
duo meticulously handles the careful packaging of the company's offerings, ensuring that
each item is presented with utmost care and attention to detail.

The logistical backbone of the company is fortified by the Department of Logistics, a robust
team of four individuals orchestrating the intricate dance of supply chain management. Their
coordination ensures the seamless flow of materials and products, optimizing efficiency and
delivery timelines.

In essence, Mr. Hendra's visionary leadership coupled with the specialized expertise of each
department forms a harmonious symphony, driving the company towards excellence in every
facet of its operations.

I.3 SWOT Perusahaan

Strengths:
1. Positive Customer Perception: The factory enjoys a favorable image among
customers, contributing to brand loyalty and trust.
2. Affordability: The competitively priced products make the factory's tofu accessible to
a wide consumer base, fostering market penetration.
3. Waste Utilization: The efficient use of waste, transformed into cow feed, not only
demonstrates environmental responsibility but also generates additional income streams.

Weaknesses:
1. Dependency on Customer Perception: While a positive image is a strength,
overreliance on customer perception can become a vulnerability if there are shifts in
consumer preferences.
2. Price Sensitivity: The affordability factor may limit profit margins and hinder
potential investment in technological advancements or premium quality ingredients.

Opportunities:
1. Holiday Demand Surge: During holidays, there is a significant opportunity for
increased sales as consumers tend to stock up on tofu, capitalizing on festive food
preparations.
2. Diversification: Exploring new product variations or introducing tofu-based holiday
specials can further tap into seasonal demands and expand the customer base.
