South Korea

South Korea is a culturally rich country with lots to offer, with a unique blend of
tradition and modernity. They have a republican government, meaning that
people have complete freedom, and are free to do what they want. There is no
specific religion in Korea, but the commonly followed religions are Buddhism,
Confucianism, and Christianity. Overall South Korea has a pretty strong economy.
It went from being an underdeveloped country, to having the largest economy in
just over a generation!

South Korean food is also known for its rich and spicy flavor. Some of the most
famous South Korean Food Kimchi. In fact, Kimchi is the national dish of South
Korea. Kimchi has a sour and salty taste, and is generally eaten with most
meals to enhance the flavor of food. It’s similar to Indian Pickle. Another
famous Korean dish is Budae Jjigae (aka Korean Army Stew). This is a very
popular dish, and it consists of spam, sausage, baked beans, kimchi, vegetables,
cheese, and instant noodles. To top it off, it's added in Korean Chilli Broth. This
is also known to be a very spicy dish. Koreans sure do love spice!

Korea is well known for its impressive infrastructure, with its skyscrapers, and
it's amazing bridge designs. The most visited place in South Korea is its capital
city, Seoul. The South Korean city is brimming with distinctive culture and
contemporary conveniences, and is home to stylish skyscrapers and shopping
centers as well as well preserved royal palaces and Buddhist temples. Seoul has
a vast metro network, and famous landmarks are typically just a few stops apart
from one another.
Another famous place in South Korea is Busan.The city offers it all, according to
a tourist insider, including the most beautiful countryside and beaches. The
southeast coastal city of Busan, one of South Korea's five regional tourism hubs
recognized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, is home to nautical
delights and a rising star in specialty coffee.
But, these cities are well known for their modern culture. The best Historic Place to
visit in South Korea is Gyeongbokgung Palace. Palace of Gyeongbok. The largest of the
five Joseon Dynasty houses located in Seoul, Gyeongbokgung Palace is arguably South
Korea's most well-known landmark. It was constructed in 1395 but burned to the
ground in the 1590s during the Imjin War.

Coming to South Korean Culture, in general the South Korean people are very kind
hearted, and respect each other. But they demand that you show them the same
amount of respect you show them. There are certain “rules and regulations” which you
must follow. For example, it is seen disrespectful for a businessman to take off their
jacket before their client does. It is expected that the clients hold the business card
with both hands, their left hand supporting their right, and to keep it nice and clean.
Korea is well known for KPop (Korean Pop Music). One such KPop band is BTS. They
are arguably the world’s most popular boy band. With more than 40 million ARMYS(
Dedicated fans of BTS Members).

Overall, South Korea is a very good country for tourists. It has generous people, and a
variety of foods. Their country has a good balance of modern lifestyle, but at the same
time not forgetting their morals and ethics.
