Mob Movie Review

The overall review that I would give for these movies would be 95%, perfectly done

throughout both movies from start to end. The biggest thing that made me give it such a good

review is how they implemented the whole movie around family. Along with his family, he is

shown breaking apart gradually and slowly throughout both movies. One part that seemed so real

in how the movie was set up was Sunny for a trap that was so thought out and planned perfectly,

being perfectly executed.

Something that they based the movie on was organized crime, along with a way of family

dynamics. This would show how the American dream was seen in the 1970s with the Vietnam

war going on almost all of the audience could relate to all of the power, corruption, and loyalty

that was shown throughout the film. Also during the making of the film, the United States had a

role in the way the movie was made because during this time the illegal alcohol trade was being

controlled by organized crime families. Along with how The Godfather Part II was historically

accurate and its impact on the Corleone family.

This movie series is a must watch with number one there being three films over it so

there is plenty of plot and film to really set you into the film. The biggest part of this movie

would have to be the directing for how the whole story adds up by the end of the second movie

with Micheal Corleone being the last of his family bloodline to remain. Along with how they set

up things throughout the film just to explain the background of stuff like when Micheal went
back to the place where his mom was killed in the first movie, to get back at Signora Andolini.

With the way they wanted to see how far they brought out the character development over how

they were developing Micheal in general with the way he would look at people and tell if they

were on his side or not.

How should people use their Power? The biggest source of power that is used in the

film is the Corleone family name. They use their power by getting people to work for them to do

their deeds like going out to kill people that they need killed. Along in other ways with needing

to get things done delivering things and delivering family safely and protecting their family and

anyone that is close wiht them. They are also keeping there family together by and close together

with everything going on. One big show of power that is shown is when kay Corleone tells

Micheal about the abortion and he breaks and sees how he is not the one in power anymore and

is devastated by this with him not even having control over his own baby being born.
