From Pisa: PISA PONTEDERA Rome
Take a train from Pisa to Pontedera and then a bus from Pontedera 0:15 0:50
to Volterra. FLORENCE
There is a train station at the Pisa Airport. Check the train timetable
upon your arrival in Pisa. There are several trains throughout the day
which will take you from Pisa Airport directly to Pontedera, otherwise

From Florence:
Take a bus from the airport to the train station in Florence, train from
Florence to Pontedera and then a bus from Pontedera to Volterra. Grosseto
Take a shuttle bus from the Florence airport to the train station Rome SIENA
(Santa Maria Novella). Take a train to Pontedera (any train in the
direction of Pisa - trains from Florence to Pontedera leave every
30 minutes.). From Pontedera follow the directions above (like from
Pisa). Travel time: approximately 2.5 hours

From Rome:
Take a train from Rome to Florence, another one to Pontedera and Florence
then a bus to Volterra. Pisa
Take a train from the station at the airport to Rome Termini (the main
Pontedera
train station in Rome). You can buy the ticket at the airport for the
entire trip to Pontedera.
From Rome Termini take a train to Florence Santa Maria Novella. Livorno
There are two types of trains: Regionale (slow but cheap, takes 3.5 Certaldo
hours), and Eurostar (fast and more expensive, takes1.5 hour). From Poggibonsi
Florence follow the directions above. San Gimignano
