Course Competencies
1. Assess their strength and weaknesses around financial analysis and develop a personal plan to develop the needed skills.
2. Examine and demonstrate the use of Excel to review, evaluate and analyze financial data to understand the underlying story the data portrays.
3. Recognize the use of financial analysis to evaluate the accomplishment of underlying HR and organizational values such as pay equity and
recruiting a diverse workforce.
4. Conduct financial analysis to propose a new initiative and evaluate financial statements, risk-benefit or CBA for a current operation.
5. Assess emerging trends in the global workplace and the financial impacts on organizational human resource initiatives.
6. Value the importance of ethical, intercultural and relationships between organizational departments.
