RESEARCH DESIGN

This research employed the descriptive research method, utilizing the Graduate Tracer
Study (GTS) tool adopted from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). Data
collection was conducted through an online survey targeting graduates of University of La
Salette, Inc. who completed their Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree year 2010. The
study involved a total of ____ respondents. The gathered data underwent organization,
tabulation, and analysis using descriptive statistics, particularly the Likert Scale, to capture
respondents' attitudes and opinions.

Population, Sample Size, and Sampling Procedure:

The population includes all nursing graduates of the University of La Salette in 2010. The
sample size is determined using a random sampling method, ensuring a representative
subset of graduates is included in the study.

Research Instrument/Technique
The research instrument is an online survey distributed through messenger platforms.
Structured questionnaires will be used, covering aspects such as employment status, further
education, and overall satisfaction with their nursing education.

Data Gathering Procedure:

Participants will receive a message inviting them to participate in the survey. Upon
agreement, they will be provided with a link to the online questionnaire. Data will be collected
anonymously to encourage honest responses.

Data Analysis
Quantitative data analysis methods, such as descriptive statistics and inferential statistics,
will be employed. This includes examining employment rates, further education pursuits, and
correlating these outcomes with specific variables from the graduates' academic history.

Ethical Considerations
In the pursuit of this research, ethical considerations will be prioritized to safeguard the well-
being and rights of participants. Clear, informed consent will be sought, delineating the
research's purpose, procedures, and potential risks and benefits. Stringent measures will be
in place to ensure the confidentiality of participant information, with data securely stored and
anonymized during reporting. Emphasis will be placed on voluntary participation, granting
participants the liberty to withdraw without consequence. Deception will be avoided unless
strictly necessary, and in such cases, participants will be promptly debriefed. Efforts will be
taken to minimize potential harm, treating participants fairly and respectfully. The study is
committed to maximizing benefits while upholding the highest standards of research
integrity. Cultural sensitivity will be observed throughout the research process to ensure
relevance and appropriateness.
