I work since a long time on my F-16 cockpit project and many of the parts, which I build for my project I can
also make for you. If you search more information of pictures about these parts, please send me a short
mail to my mail address f16@xflight.de.
Finally, I would like to thank all who have helped me in the last time with information and other. Without this
help it was not possible for me to make these detailed parts. The biggest thanks go here to a very good
friend of mine in Belgium.

Description Modeled after an ACES-II rail include the backplate and many

Description More powerful version of the USB Connector and Interface
Board with 4 ports to connect OLED displays from type AOA,
VVI, RWR, eHSI, eADI, FFI, Indexer Lights and the PCB for
the landing gear box (the DED/PFLD displays you can't
connect). Each of this port has a separate connector to
connect a potentiometer for separate brightness control. The
board also included a separate port to connect an external
power supply and any small LEDs to check the actual board
state.
USB Mini Connector and Interface Board

Description New powerful version of the USB Connector and Interface
Board in a very small design (4x2cm). You have one port to
connect OLED displays from type AOA, VVI, RWR, eHSI,
eADI, FFI and Indexer Lights (the DED/PFLD displays you
can't connect). With this small board type you can use the
displays direct with an USB connection. Because of the small
dimensions, the mini board can be mounted directly behind
the most of my displays. The USB connector is a mini port
USB.

This board support with the Landing Gear Box and an
external 12V DC power supply the following functions:
- Up/Down handle indication
- Lock/Unlock the handle
- Unlock the handle with the white button
- Permanent unlock the handle with the yellow button
- Support illumination of 5V DC external gear lights
- Indication of an external alternate gear handle

P1 "Standard" LAN Board (PoE) for 26 I/Os

Description The P1 LAN board is the standard version (size 80 x 50mm).
It is powered directly from a PoE switch. This board has two
connectors with 16 I/O ports (8 per each) with 3.3V DC.
Further it has one connector with 8 I/O ports with 3.3V DC or
8 output ports with 5, 12 or 24V DC. Last you have one
connector with 2 outputs with 5, 12 or 24V DC (12V and 24V
DC are not possible on the same time). Included is a special
connector for backlight PCBs for dynamic control of colored or
white LEDs. Four expansion modules from type EX1, EX2 or
EX3 can be connected to this board.

P2 "Mini" LAN Board (PoE) for 11 I/Os

Description The P2 LAN board is the smallest PCB (size 60 x 40mm).
This type of board is perfect for smaller panels (e.g. AVTR,
FUEL, SNSR-PWR and other). It is powered directly from a
PoE switch, no separate power supply necessary. This board
has 8 I/O ports with 3.3V DC and 3 output ports with 5V DC. A
separate connector can provide 5V DC output voltage.
Included is a special connector for backlight PCBs for
dynamic control of colored or white LEDs. Two expansion
modules from type EX1 or EX3 can be connected to this
board.
P3 "Light" LAN Board (PoE) for 48 I/Os

Description The P3 LAN board is the "light" version and particularly
suitable for inputs (size 80 x 50mm). It is powered directly
from a PoE switch, no separate power supply necessary. This
board has 48 I/O ports with 3.3V DC. A separate connector
can provide 5V output voltage. Included is a special connector
for backlight PCBs for dynamic control of colored or white
LEDs. Two expansion modules from type EX1 or EX3 can be
connected to this board.

P4 "PWM" LAN Board (PoE) for 4 variable outputs (max. +28V DC)

Description The P4 LAN board is the "PWM" version and particularly
suitable for variable PWM outputs with max. + 28V DC. This
makes it ideal for connecting original light plates and lighting
the sidewalls with variable brightness. The brightness
commands come from potentiometers that are connected to
P1, P2 or P3 boards. The P4 board has 4 output connectors
with max. 8 amps for all. Each of these outputs can be
controlled variable.
P5 "I2C" LAN Board (PoE) for 4 I2C bus connectors

Description The P5 "I2C" board (size 80 x 50mm) is a LAN version from
the "USB Connector and Interface Board". Here you have four
I2C ports with twoi bus systems to connect OLED displays
from type AOA, VVI, RWR, eHSI, eADI, FFI, Indexer Lights
and the PCB for the landing gear box.
P7 "Mini Light" LAN Board (PoE) for 16 I/Os

Description The P7 LAN board is with the P2 LAN board the smallest PCB
(size 60 x 40mm). This type of board is perfect for smaller
panels (e.g. AVTR, FUEL, SNSR-PWR and other). It is
powered directly from a PoE switch, no separate power
supply necessary. This board has 16 I/O ports with 3.3V DC.

Description The P8 "Stepper" board (size 80 x 50 mm) is a special version
for steppers that require higher ampere ratings. Two steppers
with a maximum current of 2 amperes can be connected here.
In addition, it has a connector with 8 I/O ports with 3.3 V DC.

you can connect one expansion modules of type EX1 or EX3.
EX1 Expansion Module (32 I/Os)

Description This expansion module (size 80 x 50mm) supports 32 I/Os
with 3.3V or 5V DC (not on the same time!). You can connect
this board on the P1, P2 and P3 version of the LAN PCBs.

Description This expansion module (size 80 x 50mm) supports 4 aircore
gauges from BetaInnovation including the backlight function
(green or white). You can connect this board on the P1
version of the LAN PCBs. The connection to the P1 board
needs 2 ports for 3.3V power/GND and 6 data ports on the
same connector and 2 ports for 12V power/GND and 8 data
ports from the same connector.

Description This expansion module (size 80 x 50mm) supports 8 outputs,
switched over electronic relays. Over a separate power
connector you can supply the voltage for the outputs. This
voltage can be between 3.3V and 32V DC. Each port
supports max 750 mA. You can connect this board on the P1,
P2 and P3 version of the LAN PCBs. The connection to the
LAN PCBs needs 2 ports for power/GND and 3 data ports.

Landing Gear Box

Description Landing gear box, made out of steel and included a plastic
light cap. The handle is ready to mount an original Grimes
light cap (not included!). The power to move the handle is
near the feeling of the original gear box. The box includes no
electronic parts! With all electronic parts and the Landing
Gear Box Electronic Board (separate article) or other external
IO hardware the box supports the following functions:
- Up/down handle indication
- Lock/unlock the handle

Description Landing gear box, made out of steel and included a plastic
light cap. The power to move the handle is near the feeling of
the original gear box. The box includes the electronic
components (exclude the USB Connector and Interface
Board!) and is full mounted and tested! The Landing Gear Box

- Lock/unlock the handle
- Support illumination of 5V DC external gear lights

TQS Arm include Mounting Base and Cougar Modification Kit

Description TQS arm include mounting base and the Cougar modification
kit. This part is modeled after an F-16 TQS arm. The TQS arm
included a full functional friction control and is made out of
steel and so very stable. The arm is inside hollow to allow a
good cable routing. The TQS arm is painted in grey, the
mounting base with a yellow primer. With the Cougar
modification kit you can mount the Cougar electronic board
and the kit implement also the potentiometer rail. The kit don't
include the Cougar Grip Adapter!

Grip on an TQS Arm (not included, separate article). The
adapter included an functional Pinky switch. All included
springs have the real power to move. The adapter is made in

Stick Base

Description Modeled after an F-16 stick base. Made out of steel and
aluminum. The stick base work fine with the FCC from Arend.
On top are M3 holes to mount the FCC or a stick. The stick
base is painted in grey.
Yellow Spider Mounting Base include Spring Tube and Bolt

Description Modeled after an F-16 mounting base to mount the yellow
spider on the canopy frame. The Spring Tube include Spring
Bolt is included. This part made out of steel and aluminum.
The part to mount the spring tube and the canopy opener is
dismountable with screws from the mounting base. The

Shell and Structure
F-16 Center Floor

Description Center Floor, the base of the cockpit, to mount all center parts
(Center console, ACES-II rails, rudder pedals and other). The
floor is separated in two parts, so it's better to move. Very
stable and with many details and a big electronic bay on the
back side. Made in steel and aluminum, delivered as a big self
mounting kit (round about 80 pieces). However all the parts
that require welding are already mounted. A mounting
description is included. The final assembly can be easily be
done by using rivets or screws. The parts are not pained!
F-16 Left Side Shell include Canopy Frame Support Parts

Description Left side shell, delivered as a big self-mounting kit (round
about 180 pieces). The left side shell is separated in two parts
for better moving. With many details, big electronic bay on
back side and below the "wing line". Behind two big
maintenance doors you find an extendible drawer. The
canopy frame support parts included the aft-, center- and
forward support, the pin base include pin to fix the center
console and the pin install base to alignment the canopy. The
canopy locker blocks and the pin frames are not included. All
parts are made in steel and aluminum. However all the parts
that require welding are already mounted. The parts are not
pained! You can mount in this shell part the left side and aux
console and the TQS include TQS rail (all separate articles).

Shell and Structure
F-16 Right Side Shell include Canopy Frame Support Parts
Description Right side shell, delivered as a big self-mounting kit (round
about 180 pieces). The right side shell is separated in two
parts for better moving. With many details, big electronic bay
on the back side and below the "wing line". Behind two big
maintenance doors you find an extendible drawer. The
canopy frame support parts included the aft-, center- and
forward support, the pin base include pin to fix the center
console and the pin install base to alignment the canopy. The
canopy locker blocks and the pin frames are not included. All
parts are made in steel and aluminum. However all the parts
that require welding are already mounted. The parts are not
pained! You can mount in this shell part the right side and aux
console and the front- and back arm rest (all separate
articles).
F-16 Cockpit Ladder
Price in EUR 685,00
Description Modeled after an F-16 cockpit ladder as a kit. Manufactured
from steel and aluminium, supplied in kit form for self
assembly. However, all parts that need to be welded are
already assembled. Including adjustable articulated feet as
well as stickable black anti-slip foil. The final assembly can be
done simply by riveting or screwing. The parts of the kit are
not painted!

APPENDIX
LAN PCB solution
With these new LAN PoE boards, you can easily connect panels and other peripherals without large cable
harnesses and the damn USB ;-). Power is supplied via a PoE switch (no additional power supply is usually
required). There are now a large number of different LAN PoE boards that differ in size and the number of
possible I/Os. Here is a short list:
· P1 "Standard" LAN Board (PoE) for 26 variable I/O ports (3.3V / 5.0V / 12.0V / 24.0V DC)
· P2 "Mini" LAN Board (PoE) for 11 variable I/O ports (3.3V / 5.0V DC)
· P3 "Light" LAN Board (PoE) for 48 I/O ports (3.3V DC)
· P4 "PWM" LAN Board (PoE) for 4 variable outputs (max. +28V DC)
· P7 "Mini Light" LAN Board (PoE) for 16 I/O ports (3.3V DC)
· P8 "Stepper" LAN Board (PoE) for 2 High Power Steppers and 8 I/Os with 3.3V DC
In addition, there are also the following expansion boards that can be used to expand the LAN PoE boards:
· EX1 Expansion Module for 32 I/O ports (3.3V / 5.0V DC)
· EX2 Expansion Module for 4 BetaInnovation AirCores
· EX3 Expansion Module for 8 relay outputs (between 3.3V and 32.0V DC)
Here is a short list of the possibilities of the LAN PoE boards (using the example of the P1 board):
· 26 variable I/O ports, among others suitable for buttons, switches, rotary switches, encoders,
potentiometers, 7-segment displays (also dynamic), OSRAM / HCMS displays, LEDs, lamps, magnetic
switches, keyboard matrix (max. 8x8), output matrix (max 8x8), servos, steppers, aircores, …
· Variable voltage with 3.3, 5, 12 and 24V. When using 3.3V you can simultaneously switch by jumper
two additional voltages (i.e ., 5V and 12V, 5V and 24V…).
· You can switch against ground and against voltage (at random - not only per connector).
· Connector for backlight PCBs (for example, Olivie's or Albert's great PCBs) for dynamic control of
colored or white LEDs. You are therefore able to simultaneously change the brightness of the backlight
PCBs on all connected LAN boards by using one potentiometer. The color can be adjusted individually.
· High-quality connectors for plugging instead of screwing cables, allowing quick release of connections.
· The programming of the IOs is stored in the flash of the board, whereby it is possible to name the
boards corresponding to the panels.
· Simple programming via graphical user interface. Programming for most F16 panels is already
included.
· Interface via DEDCapture directly to Falcon (and soon to DCS, here I must only find more information
about the programming interface of DCS).
· Enormously extensible through an internal programming language, e.g. for the extension of functions
that BMS or DCS currently do not support (e.g. the detection of idle / cutoff with DCS)
· Compact dimensions, allowing attaching the board directly under a panel onto the connector plate.
· The own intelligence allows special flight simulator programming.
· Virtual Joystick Driver (VJoy) support.
· ...
