--Spiritual gifts and Missions

Spiritual gifts are the blessing from God , they are the part working of church,as leg hands feet, head
of a body .Every one are doing different work ,but as a company. Maybe some kind of works are
obviously,and some kinds not, but all of them are very impaortant in missions.Since the work of God is
not the things that we can do by ourselves, it is one body work. A body needs help of hands and legs
as well as the small tongue inside.(Cor.12:14-21)
Also our spiritual gifts should based on the biggest spiritual gift,which is LOVE(1 Cor 13:13)
Unity is the first step of Love, then we can use our spiritual gifts to LOVE and bless others
and adopt others' weakness. As how Jesus love his disciples and adopt their weakness, and make
perfect in their weakness to be their strong point.(Cor. 12:9)

When I searching for my spiritual gift, I was surprised that I have lots of gifts .I used not think them as
gifts and sometimes thought them as weakness,but now I am thankful that God has them as blessing
for me.
I am very open and persistent on the things I like to do. In most circumstances,I am very talkative, It
easy for me to find the common topic to talk to different groups of people, from children to old
people. (If they are kind ,and willing to talk). Also enjoy cooking, like to invited believers to our house.
Also,I am brave to do what is meaningful,even be beset with difficulties, and creative to survive. At last
,I think my third gift is music playing. When I search for the examples in Acts. I was amzed that Peter is
also a talkactive person. As recorded in the four gospel, He often act on impulse without
consideration. I am somehow so much like him, always rush ,always speak before think.........However,
HE is the first of the eleven disciples standing up to share the gospel to the Jews and the people in
Jerusalem,and to be persecuted for the name of Jesus Chrsit.(Acts2 :14, 4:13) God used to be a good
leader of the church and the pioneer of missions.
The other example of my gifts is Lydia, which is recorded in Acts16: 14-15, Lydia was a seller of purple
goods, in that the ,purple is the color shows the authority and riches, that mean she was rich,she was
baptized , she invited Paul to her house .The scriptures said that she "urged"and "prevailed" ,shows
her hospitality,and willing to serve. At last ,as recorded in Acts16:25,music is a good tools to pass the
gospel.When Paul and Silas sang Praise in the jail, the other prisoners were listening.
Today , I found a phenomena is that teeangers and young people self-closed to their own world
without communicating with the real world is increased in the mainland of China, especially middle
area, and this phenomena is widespread even in churches. The lack of parents education,and the lack
of time -accompanied with the children leads these results.
The children began uncapable and lost of good ability to communicate with parents. The phone is the
only entertainment and fellow. Another group of teeangers are similar ,but even worse, as called
"Leftover Children" means the children who left in the hometown due to their parents' migrant or
other reasons.
According to the statistics of 2021 Chinese under age internet using data "In 2021, The minors in China
accessing to the Internet are as high as 96.8%
Nearly 30% of parents believe that their children spend too much time online. In 2021, the number of
underage Internet users in China will reach 191 million, and the overall Internet penetration rate of
minors will further increase, reaching 96.8%, an increase of 1.9 percentage points over 2020. The gap
between the Internet penetration rates of urban and rural minors has also been narrowing since 2018,
with 96.7 percent of urban minors and 97.3 percent of rural minors in 2021, according to the report.
With the exception of primary school , the Internet penetration rate of rural minors with other
educational backgrounds is higher than that of urban minors. It is worth noting that the Internet
penetration of minors at a younger age trend is more obvious, the Internet penetration rate of
primary school students reached 95.0%, 28.2% of primary school students have been exposed to the
Internet before going to school. Mobile phone is still the most popular Internet device for minors. The
report also shows that the new smart devices have a high usage rate among underage Internet users,
and the information security risks of such devices deserve attention." ----XingJing News Office
The ministry of young people is a big demands, to making disciples of new generations, leads them to
found the sense of life ,and training parents to upbringing biblically is the command needs of the
society today as well as the the church in China.

When I visited many churches and seen the reality of the general young people during my college
study in China,I am grateful that my parents' upbringing and protected me from these dangerous by
homeschooling me biblically,and kept a good communication and relationship with me,So that today I
can help others with the gifts God has giving me.
The ways I would like to use my gifts in missions by God's will are involved in the ministries of youth,
since in China, it is not safe to evangelism openly. One of the best way of sharing gospel is building
good relationship with unbelievers privately, so that we can share gospel in chating. Gradually leading
them to Christ,and making them disciples by personal example as well as verbal instrution, be the
Light and Salt so they can see that you are different from the world. As I mentioned before , the young
people today are lack of communication, in addition of the technic device widespread in minors,
Depression is populared in the group of teenagers.
They need help ,and need someone to hear their thinking,and accompany them , and bring them to
the real world insted of wollowed in the virtual world. Another ministry I would like to involved is the
youth counselling.Since this is a good way to meet more people.
There is a private christian college ,"Trinity School Of Music",in the middle area of China--Wuhan
city( the origin city of covid－19) their missions is to help the young people who had been kicked out
from school, the student who are despressed an tend to commit suicide , the high school student
who are addicated with cigarette and alcohol, and the student that be rapt in games out of the things
that are control them by leading them towards God. Teaching them technic so that they can work
and have a life goal.
Also, training them to be tent-maker so them can making disciples and help the church in the religious
circumstances in China today.I have taught private violin in that school for one years , and had a
wonderful observation of how they ministry. They spent lots of time to counselling the children,
showing love to them to heal the harm they have hurted from the public school ,from their unblieved
parents ,and the harm that their parents made because they did not how to teach chilren biblically
even they were christians. The most reason of these terrible condition of the teenagers is because
they are lack of Love.
I think music is also a spiritual gift that God given to me to use it in missions, and if it is God' s will, I
would like to serve and be training to help the teenagers in that school with the music skills and the
truth I have learned here in BJMBC.
I think that the gift of talkative is the funnel that I can enjoy and have enthusiasm to counselling and
to encourage them to find hope in their life. To serve them in life such as cook for them, and leading
them to find the natual life ,such as invite them to have a picnic outside. Instead of phone games
every day , to feel God's Creation.
Music teaching is also a good cover for missions in China. The unbelievers like to learn music, and it is
a good medium to touch them. The new generation is a important target in China, may God's work
have free course through them.

LOVE and Truth is the foundation of spiritual gifts, in missions, we should love them and knowing their
needs and making them disciples by the word of God. God must be glory in the youth ministry
through the light and salt of our acction.
