ACTIVITY 1
THE WORKER

Work is on your way. Are you prepared to work? Do you have the potential, character, talents, and
skills to take up the vigor of being a worker? What should you possess to become a good worker? How will
you prepare for work immersion?

As a Grade 12 student, I should have prepared myself for what is considered one of the most important
prerequisites for workplace preparedness. As I mature into an adult, I should be able to work in any setting.
Workplace readiness is a fundamental criterion for becoming an adult.

I believe I have the ability and talents to be a worker. Because I am capable of completing any
assignment that is assigned to me. I'll keep managing my time in order to become a more productive person.
We must be open-minded to become competent workers, because the more open-minded we are, the more
willingly we acquire knowledge from our superiors, making us more trainable.

To qualify for work immersion, I must keep practicing and optimize the abilities that will enable me to grow
quickly inside the company. Aside from that, I must prepare myself to be more productive because during my
work immersion, I will most likely encounter new individuals with similar or different expertise.

ACTIVITY 2

After the pre-immersion orientation, list the Do’s and Don’ts employed in the workplace you are
assigned.
DO’s DON’Ts

1. Do arrive early. Don’t “reply all” to email chain.

2. Do communicate with people outside your Don’t have personal conversations at your desk.
cubicle.
3. Do be willing to help out a co-worker. Don’t bring your emotions into the office.
4. Do create a proper personal email address. Don’t be afraid to ask questions.
5. Do jump at a chance to complete a new task. Don’t gossip about fellow workers or your boss.
6. Do be flexible. Don’t use emoji’s or multiple exclamation points
in work emails.
7. Do dress appropriately for the office. Don’t talk back to your boss.
8. Do make sure your ear buds are plugged in Don’t forget that at work socials, you’re still at

9. Do be open-minded. Don’t be nervous, but also don’t overstep your
boundaries.
10. Do always wear a smile. Don’t stir up tension in the workplace.

Reflection
1. Do you agree to the company’s policy guidelines, rules, and agreement? Support your
Answer.
Yes, I agree with the company's values, laws, and agreement because they will assist to keep the workplace
healthy. To retain a professional approach at work, I must continue to observe those rules and regulations as a
trainee.
2. Was there a rule that you think is not acceptable to you? Why?
LA IMMACULADA CONCEPCION SCHOOL
No, there are no unfavourable regulations; as a trainee, I am required to obey all of my firm's established
standards in order to fit into any workplace. I will declare the regulation illegal if it is harsh and fails to treat
workers fairly.
LA IMMACULADA CONCEPCION SCHOOL

ACTIVITY 3
CONFIDENTIALITY IN THE WORKPLACE

Suppose you work in a police station or a law firm and signed a confidentiality agreement regarding
all their cases at hand, suddenly your friend who was a suspect to a crime asked you for some documents
that are in your office's possession that may help him in his case. How would you deal with the situation?

I'll emphasize to him that I have a job and must follow all workplace laws and regulations. Instead, I'd have
him tell me about the case in which he's engaged, and then I'd tell my employer that I'm going to do my own
investigation and would be away from them, and that I'd want to assist him with his case. Not only must a
competent worker respect the regulations, but he must also advise his customer that he has a number of
options for aid.
LA IMMACULADA CONCEPCION SCHOOL

ACTIVITY 4
CONFLICT RESOLUTION
Did you ever experience disagreement and conflict with co-workers? How did you handle the
situation? How would you rate your skills in handling differences of opinion? Please give an example that
illustrates that skill.

I've had conflicts and disagreements with coworkers. I believe it is an essential component of every workplace
and the only way we can truly develop our talents and enhance our procedures. Listen first, then talk, I've
discovered, is the best way to tackle these types of arguments. I don't want my coworkers to feel as if their
ideas are being dismissed immediately away, so I try to listen to them fully and make sure I grasp their point of
view. I convey my worries and explain what I see differently once I've had a chance to evaluate their point of
view. We're usually able to reach an agreement that benefits both of us.

WORK IMMERSION HIGHLIGHTS

When I initially heard about my Work Immersion, I was terrified since it would be my first experience
working with people in a real workplace. I was led by fear and negative thoughts, but after I began
working at Always Clean, the fear subsided. It was maybe eased because I was familiar with the
employees, and they weren't difficult to deal with. I was able to learn new things and engage with others
by immersing myself in my profession. I can refine my skills in my chosen field. Some staff members
assist me in understanding some tough concepts, particularly in VB.net and JAVA programming. They
really help me understand these concepts well and let me apply them so that I will be more proficient
when I finally graduate from Senior High School. I learned that every activity gives lots of knowledge
and interests that we must keep in life. Those little things help us grow as an individual, improves our
skills, and prepares us for the future.

MY REFLECTIONS

How did the experience change me as a person, and how will it help me in the future?

The experience really give me a good idea on how I can improve my skills and knowledge. Work Immersion
has allowed me to have a better understanding of our workplace's work flow. It really assists me in gaining
more understanding about my chosen track throughout my work immersion, and it also allows me to
demonstrate my traits and talents They have continued to aid and push me during my time as a trainee to
study hard, work hard, and always do my best in any situation. The work immersion experience was a
valuable and much-needed type of preparation for entering the workforce. It enabled me to collaborate and
work with professionals and specialists in the same or related fields as me. I was able to further enhance my
talents and abilities as a result of the knowledge I gained from workplace mentoring. They were kind and
even helped me with some of the work. I’ve been allocated. Therefore, I conclude that this experience was
a huge help in getting me totally prepared for my next job.

WHAT WENT WELL?
Eisen knows how to do things right and with quality

WHAT WENT WELL?

Very much satisfied with what he showed

FEEDBACK OF SUPERVISOR?
Eisen was always punctual during his entire work immersion activity. It also showed in the quality of his
works. Reports were submitted on time and with minimal revision needed. He easily finished a task and
politely asked if there is needed to be done. Has a good sense of responsibility and does not leave any work
hanging. He was always jolly and a good companion during his stay in the hospital. There were minimal
photos because the hospitals policy is to not take any photos inside that premises, but he was able to
provide one without disregarding the hospital rules.
