persons should not be joined together in Holy Matrimony,
you are to declare it.

1. Second Collection for the Vicarage Project
There will be a second collection for the Vicarage Project
Fund before dismissal.
2. Christmas Caroling
This year's Christmas caroling will be conducted
physically, house to house. Registration forms to invite
caroling groups to your house can be found at the service
counter by today. Please submit the form before 3
December 2023. The schedule for the Caroling was
attached to the form. Volunteers who wish to join the
carolers' group may contact the person in charge of this
year's Christmas Caroling, Subdeacon Matthew Jouel at
017 247 6569.
3. Registration for Confirmation Class Year 2024
The Confirmation Class Year 2024 registration period will
begin on October 21, 2023. Only those aged 12 and older
are eligible to register. The form can be obtained from the
Parish Office or at the Confirmation Class Counter. The
form and the required documents should be submitted to
the Parish Office or Confirmation Class Warden on or
before 31 December 2023.
4. Ministry Fund
Members of the church are encouraged to contribute to
the Ministry Fund, with the last contribution due by
December 15, 2023. For working adults, the Annual
Ministry Fund rate is RM 120, while housewives, students,
and pensioners pay RM 60 annually.

10.An Important Reminder

5. Diocesan Children’s Sunday
The celebration of Diocesan Children’s Sunday will be held on
19 November 2023 during the Iban Service. In this regard, our
Church Sunday School representatives will read the readings
of that Sunday. This celebration is an opportunity for the
Church to recognize the children's contribution to the life of
the diocese. It is also an opportunity to promote the
importance of nurturing the spiritual growth of children.
6. Infant Baptism
Our next infant baptism will take place on Saturday, 25th
November 2023 at 2.00 pm. Parents who wish their child to be
baptized may collect the baptism form from the service
counter.
7. Holy Matrimony Service
Our Vicar and Revd. Stanley Kiew have been appointed as
Assistant Marriage Registrars (Penolong Pendaftar
Perkahwinan). Therefore, couples who wish to get married in
church must first meet the Vicar at least one month before the
proposed date of wedding. Please do not set the date before
discussing it with the Vicar.
8. Sponsorship of Sanctuary Flower
Our sanctuary flowers cost around RM 100.00 each Sunday.
Floral arrangements for the sanctuary and altar area can be
sponsored by members of the congregation. The sponsorship
of flowers may be made in honour of a wedding anniversary,
birthday, or death anniversary of a loved one.
9. Pastoral Care
Please contact the Parish Office or the Vicar prior to deciding
on the date for any pastoral care services, such as a house
blessing, car blessing or thanksgiving. The purpose of this is to
avoid any scheduling conflicts, especially with house
blessings, which can only be conducted by priests. The Parish
Office will provide information about available priests and
their availability. The Parish Office can help determine the
best day and time for the service.

inside the church building, especially in the elevator.

contributions will go a long way in helping us to
continue our mission and evangelism work in Ulu

12.Organists for the English and Iban Choirs
We would like to encourage those who are able to play
thepiano or keyboard to offer yourselves to play the
organ forthe English Choir and Iban Choir respectively.
Experience isnot a requirement but will be good to
have. Those who offerthemselves must be willing to
attend practices and bededicated and disciplined to
serve the Lord. If you areinterested, please contact
Mdm Magdalini Paul at 016-8467238 for the English
Choir and Mdm. Dolly Saban at 012-6262084 for the Iban
Choir.
13. No Bahasa Malaysia Service
There will be no Bahasa Malaysia service on the
