I think it is a positive attitude in which a solution was offered to the


problem that arose at that time.

When we talk about a good attitude, I think it is important to


understand that it is a reference to having positive behavior, which
seeks to learn to better understand and seek the best solutions to the
circumstances that arise.

The first option. To correct a deaf person is their pronunciation, in my


opinion is not a good attitude, it denotes ignorance and arrogance.
Ignorance in not knowing that the deeper the deafness, the more
difficult the development and learning of spoken language. Arrogance
in believing that one has a position of privilege and authority for being
able to pronounce spoken language, which allows one to correct a
deaf person without understanding that the sense of hearing is a
determining factor in the development of spoken language.
Option B. Creating new words could be an attempt to contribute
something, which reveals the lack of understanding in the creation of
new words in any language. Creating new words in ASL requires
understanding body language, facial expressions, associations of signs
with similar triggers, etc. Besides, ASL is not a universal language.

Option C. Take notes to keep in the loop a deaf person in a while the
interpreter comes. This option is a good attitude, looking for practical
solutions for the problem that arose at the moment, making the deaf
person part of the meeting, giving him or her the opportunity to be
aware of what is happening. Opening communication channels
between those present.
