TV a strange box, good for society, but also cursed, people use it, youth
misuse it , justify both arguments.

Give reasons for your answer and include examples from or within your own society.

Answer:

Television is one of the greatest inventions of all times. The word,

“TELEVISION” means, “To see from a distance”. This wonderful device has some
advantages and some disadvantages which I am going to explain in this essay.

Television has a great importance for us. It is a major source of information as

by sitting in our home, we can learn and get knowledge of current affairs without
reading newspapers and books, moreover, we can watch news of politics, sports,
exchange market and everything. Secondly, television is also gives us entertainment
as we enjoy the films and dramas on the television and also special programmes for
children and women, etc. Thirdly, it also gives us education through distance
learning education system and a teacher sitting in home can teach students sitting
in their homes on internet. In short, it has converted a house into a learning center.

The television has its disadvantages too. It has made people lazy because they
watch the television all the time and do not enjoy life. Furthermore, Television’s X-
rays are dangerous for young children and old people and It also makes eye-sight
weak. Now-a-days, some TV channels show immoral type of films and dramas that
destroys the character of new generation

In conclusion, television is not good or bad but Its use, makes it good or bad.
In my opinion, If TV is used good purpose, it can make an amazing society but, if it
is misused then it will destroy the young generation, therefore, use this invention in
a nice way.
