DATA ENGINEER

Job Overview :

● Work within our data engineering team to monitor, test and maintain existing
data pipelines
● Gather data requirements from multiple sources and develop new data plans
and pipelines to ensure optimized data flows can feed our business reporting
● Gain an understanding of our data architecture and demonstrate innovative
solutions to improve complex workflows.

Key Skills, Competencies and Experience

● Strong experience developing and using relational databases.
● Ability to optimize data retrieval through good design, avoiding bottlenecks
and solving complex data problems.
● Candidate must have proven strong skills/experience using MySQL, Python,
GIT
● Experience using BigQuery/GCP is a benefit
● Background in programming or computer science.
● Candidate must possess excellent communication skills and be a self-starter

Experience / Education :

● Prior experience as a data engineer

● Min of 5 Years of experience developing data pipelines and working with
relational databases
● Degree in Computer Science, IT, or similar field

Working Hours: 4 hour overlap with GMT (Dublin) Time Zone

Employment: 9/12 Month Contract

Must have skills:

● SQL & Python

● 5 Years of experience developing data pipelines and working with relational
databases

Work Setup:

● 100% remote
● Midshift Manila Time - starts at 3 PM Manila which is 8 AM in Dublin
