The Cultures of Pakistan

Pakistan is a country full of ethnic diversity. You will find different cast, norms, cultures, and
traditions being celebrated in this country. It comprises four provinces, and each province has
its lifestyle.
Different languages are spoken in different provinces, e.g. People of Punjab speak Punjabi,
people of Sindh speak Sindhi, people of Baluchistan speak Balochi, Pashto, Urdu, and Brahui,
people of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa speak Pashto, and English.

Sindhi Culture:

Cultural language
The cultural language of Punjab is known as Punjabi.

Cultural Dress
People of Sindh wear Sindhi dresses which include Kameez with Shalwar Ajrak, and Sindhi Topi.
Cultural Food
Food is usually Curry, Mutton, Channa daal, Palak, and Dipasand Curry.
Cultural Sports
Famous sports of Sindhi culture are Kodi, Malakhiro, Wanjh Wati.

The cultural language of Punjab is known as Punjabi.

Cultural Dress
The traditional dress of Punjab for men is Pagri, Kurta and dhoti.
Cultural Food
Punjabi food is popular due to the rich buttery flavors with meat and vegetable dishes like
“Sarson da sag” and “makai di roti”.
Cultural Sports
Punjabis are fond of kabaddi, and wrestling, which is also popular in other parts of Pakistan and
it's also played on national level.
Baluchistan Culture:

Cultural Food
Sajji is the specialty of Baluchistan, and people love it in every province. They also love eating
roasted lamb and mutton.
Cultural Language
In Baluchistan People speak Pashtu and Saraiki languages.
Cultural Dress
The clothing of the Baloch people is kameez and shalwar, turban, shoes and head scarfs.
Cultural Sports
There are many popular games and sports in Baloch society include chauk, and Jee. The other
games like wrestling, horse racing, shooting and hunting.
Khyber-Pakhtunkhwah Culture:

Cultural Food
Most of the people in there eat meat dishes that include lamb, beef, chicken, and fresh fish as
well as rice and some other vegetables.
Cultural Language
Two Main Languages of KPK are Pakhto and Pashto.
Cultural Sports
Some Cultural Sports of KPK are Mukkha , Gully Danda , Meergati and Kabadi
