(NOTICE, CAUTION,SHORT MESSAGE, ANNOUNCEMENT)

A. NOTICE

Notice is a sign or printed statement that gives information or warning to people

( Notice adalah sebuah informasi singkat dan sederhana yang berbentuk tulisan atau simbol untuk
memberikan instruksi atau peringatan terhadap publik )

Example :

KEEP OF THE GRASS

a. The notice means that pedestrian should not walk on the grass.

( artinya pejalan kaki dilarang menginjak rumput )

DO NOT FEED THE ANIMALS

b. The notice means that the visitors must not give food to the animals.

( artinya pengunjung dilarang memberi makan binatang )

B. CAUTION

Caution is a warning or piece of advice telling you to be careful.

(Caution adalah tulisan berupa peringatan, saran untuk lebih berhati hati )

Example :

WET FLOOR

a. The caution means that you have to be careful of the slippery floor

( artinya hati hati lantai basah )

WET PAINT

b. The caution means that the visitors must be careful because the paint is still wet

( artinya hati hati cat masih basah )

C.SHORT MESSAGE

A short message is a written piece ot that you send/ leave to another person

( short message adalah tulisan berupa pesan pendek yang dikirim atau ditinggalkan oleh seseorang)

Example

To : Alifa

Meet me in the library after school. I have something to show you .

Please be there.

Safitri

To : Alifa ( orang yang dikirim pesan )

Meet me in the library after school. I have something to show you . ( isi pesannya )

Please be there.

Safitri ( pengirim pesan )

D. ANNOUNCEMENT

Announcement is an important or official statement that informs people about something

( announcement / pengumuman adalah pengumuman atau statement penting yang diinformasikan

pada seseorang )

ANNOUNCEMENT

There will be a flag raising ceremony next Monday. All students must wear
white uniforms. Do not be late.
