SITUATIONAL REPORT
Local Weather Condition / ST KARDING

REGION: III
PROVINCE: NUEVA ECIJA (Talavera)

DATE: September 26, 2022

I. SITUATIONAL OVERVIEW
- Talavera had experienced the onslaught of Super Typhoon Karding and was placed under
TCWS no. 4 until it was lifted at 0200 hours on 26 September (ref. TCB # 18 & 19).
- During the passage of Karding, heavy to intense rainfall with severe winds was observed
and caused significant damage to properties and pre-emptive evacuation in several
Barangays.
- As of 9am today, local weather condition is cloudy with scattered rainshowers.
- As of 9am today wind condition : light to moderate winds
- As of 11:00AM, TCWS in Talavera is lifted
II. PREPAREDNESS MEASURES
- Monitoring PAGASA-DOST weather updates for dissemination within AOR
- Emergency Operation Center and Incident Command System still active
- BDRRMCs/BERTs continuously monitoring situation within their AOR for other possible response
and rescue operations
- Augmentation and deployment of local DRRMC response clusters (MDRRMO, PNP,
BFP,DPWH,NEECO,MSWDO, MEO, MHO )
- Continues road clearing and clean up operations on going within the affected Barangays
- Rescue Vehicle and personnel on standby
III. IMPACTS
a. Flooding None as of this reporting period

b. Status of Lifeline All roads and bridges within AOR are now cleared
and passable
With power outage/interruptions
No mobile phone signal outage
With water supply interruption but restored
c. Evacuation Pre-emptive evacuation:
