(Senior) Product Owner – Communication (m/f/d)

My duties
Become a member of the Communication team that is developing the technical heart of the car, and this consists of the highly
integrated computing platforms for different domains like Infotainment, Cockpit, Body, Connected Vehicle and more
The Communication team is a specific unit within the Architecture and Development Department, responsible for all
communication-relevant aspects such as ECU internal communication as well as communication from our computer towards the
rest of the vehicle, typically via Ethernet or CAN-FD
Take over the product ownership for communication features (e.g. Ethernet & service communication, switching, firewall, routing
of automotive bus systems) in one of our future infotainment projects Technical lead for our development team in an agile SAFe
framework
Definition and alignment of the backlog for the communication features jointly with the team
Prepare and conduct the cyclic PI-plannings and represent the topics and the team towards the project lead
Responsible for the product development for automotive communication features jointly with the team to ensure seamless
communication over tightly networked domain control units in our vehicles
Driver and leader by content in all development phases (SYS.2 to SYS.5)
Liaise and align the feature requirements closely with multiple parties including internal stakeholders (e.g. VW Group brands,
architecture, security, system integration, test) and suppliers

My qualifications
Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, mechatronics, computer science, information technology or a comparable
field and several years of professional experience
Experience in system development in best case with Ethernet based communication and protocols on automotive bus systems
First experience as Product Owner in the SAFe framework within the automotive industry
Preferred: experience with Automotive Spice
Strong teamwork skills with experience as technical lead and to have a proactive mindset with solid communication skills
Tools: Jira, DOORS, MS-Office and ideally Codebeamer, CANoe, Wireshark
Fluent English language skills (both oral and written) required, German is a plus
