HOMEWORK GUIDELINES

1) Refer to the following videos such as History 101: Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece, and Ancient Rome produced by
National Geographic Channel which can be viewed on youtube.com and some information in your textbook. These are
the two primary references or sources of your outputs.
2) Do not only rely on the narration. Pay attention to the visuals presented in the videos, too.
3) Use only long bond paper for your outlines and art activities. Refer to the format attached.
4) Follow the format for the art activities and the outlines.
5) Make sure that the content of the outlines is readable and comprehensible; all outlines must be hand-written.
6) Draw margins (TBLR: about half inch) on your outputs.
7) Refer to the rubrics:
Art Activity 1
 Neatness – 2 pts
 Artistry – 4 pts
 Incorporation of the Ancient writings – 4 pts
Art Activity 2
 Description (about 10 sentences) - 5 pts

8) Not following these guidelines means a failing mark. So make sure that you follow these guidelines. Ask when
necessary.
9) These outlines and art activities will be a part of your homework compilation this midterm. Likewise, your homework
about subject and content together with the meanings of lines, shapes, and colors are included in this compilation. This
compilation is 30 percent of your class standing. So make sure that everything is complete because one of the outlines
and one of the art activities will be selected and graded. Hence, aim for the gold.
