Appendix A6 – EQUIPMENT AND FACILITIES

Tenderer shall provide a detailed equipment and facilities plan. This plan shall state quantities,
capacities and demonstrate availability of all equipment and facilities, including fabrication
workshop required for the execution of the work and shall fully address the requirements for
multiple worksites and work phasing (refer to Appendix A9). As a minimum, the equipment and
facilities plan shall include: - • Plant, construction and marine equipment lists, including
quantities and capacities. • Identification of all equipment, plant, and facilities that are owned
by the Tenderer (or proposed JV) and all items of plant, equipment, and facilities that will be
leased or hired. Where plant, equipment and/or facilities are to be leased or hired, supply
sources shall be identified. (Proof of ownership should be provided for verification) • Details of
the measures to be undertaken in order to guarantee availability of all plant, equipment, and
facilities which will be leased or hired for the required duration; • Details of estimated
productivity levels for plant and equipment and identifying how equipment quantities are
linked back to the work schedule and manpower plan; • Details of preventative maintenance
measures to be adopted, including details of workshop capabilities and maintenance
equipment to be used during project execution. • Dockside, temporary and worksite storage
facilities, including locations and capacities both inside and outside of Nigeria. • Site medical
facilities. • Testing facilities and laboratories (including concrete test, slump test, soil test for
geotechnical survey, X-RAY equipment and dark room for the processing of radiographic films
etc); • Details of all proposed communication and data management facilities covering all work
locations, worksites and NewcrossEP base office in Port Harcourt. • Computing facilities in
terms of hardware, technical and business software to be used for the work. • Office space,
equipment, and facilities including those dedicated for use by NewcrossEP representatives,
including car parking spaces. • Office layout and area to be dedicated to the work. • Site
facilities for both NewcrossEP and own staff, including a description of the type of structure
proposed (pre-fabrication or block walled etc.) and a description of furnishings. • Details of on-
site power, water supply, sewage and waste disposal, including medical waste and other
utilities • Details of proposed catering facilities for own staff, covering all worksites in remote
locations. • Provide a detailed plan, over and above base plan, to mobilize additional
equipment, including source identification, should it be necessary to increase productivity.
