freedom of expression”, which the prize-giving
committee described as being under threat worldwide
Literature Abdulrazak Gurnah for his "uncompromising and compassionate
penetration of the effects of colonialism".
Economics David Card, Joshua Card won one half for his empirical contributions to
Angrist and Guido labour economics, while Angrist and Imbens shared
Imbens the other half for their methodological contributions
to the analysis of causal relationships.
