The impressively equipped new Tiguan S offers
a host of features all fitted as standard, including
stylish 16 inch ‘Portland’ alloy wheels, ‘Pakata’
cloth upholstery, ‘Anthracite metallic’ decorative
inserts and ‘Steel finish’ air vent surrounds.
The well appointed interior features driver’s
and front passenger’s height-adjustable seats,
‘Climatic’ semi-automatic air conditioning,
an RCD 310 DAB digital radio/MP3 compatible
CD player, load-through provision with sliding
and reclining rear seats that split fold 60:40
allowing rear seat passengers and bulky items
to be transported together, an electronic parking
brake with auto hold function and alarm with
interior protection, along with handy storage
compartments throughout.

The new Tiguan Sport is dynamic and exciting,
with 18 inch ‘Sierra’ alloy wheels, front fog lights,
chrome side window surrounds, heat insulating

Inside, Alcantara upholstery with ‘Milan’ side

Thanks to its exceptional flexibility, the new

Tiguan provides exactly the seating or stowage
arrangements you require. The rear seats spilt
60:40 and each side can be moved lengthways,
while all but the driver’s seat can be folded flat,
providing a massive loading volume of up to
1,510 litres.

Please note, passenger seat on S models cannot be folded flat.

The interior can be specified in optional luxurious

and extremely durable ‘Vienna’ leather
upholstery, which includes driver’s seat with
electric 12-way adjustment (in lieu of driver’s
under seat drawer) and lumbar support. Heated
front seats and heated windscreen washer jets are
also included to make cold mornings just that little
bit easier to bear. Optional on all models.

The electrically operated panoramic glass

sunroof gives an extra dimension of light and
space and comes equipped with a retractable
blind to prevent glare from the sun. The front area
of the sunroof can be adjusted into a number of
positions to provide optimum ventilation. Optional

is fitted as standard or an optional extra, every element blends
harmoniously into the interior of the new Tiguan.

The latest generation Park Assist system with front
and rear parking sensors recognises both reverse and
parallel parking spaces and automatically steers into
either, while the driver operates the clutch, brake and
accelerator. The system can now parallel park in
particularly small spaces, only 1.1 m longer than the
vehicle. In addition an optical parking display extends
the functions of the parking sensors by indicating your
position on the vehicle’s audio display during parking.
Standard on all SE and optional on all other models.

The Winter pack in conjunction with cloth
upholstery includes heated front seats with
three preset temperature settings and heated
windscreen washer jets, ensuring you are fully
prepared to face any cold spell. Optional on
all models.

Cruise control can be set at speeds of over
19 mph to maintain a constant speed. Once set
to your desired speed, all your concentration
can be focused on the road ahead creating
a more relaxed drive. Optional on all models.
Cruise control cannot be specified in conjunction Lane Assist.

The RNS 510 touch-screen navigation/DVD
radio system responds to spoken voice
commands for navigation, CD and radio
functions, and features a 6½ inch colour
screen, 30 GB hard drive with preloaded
navigation data, SD card reader, compatibility
with MP3, WMA and DVD video data files,
and AUX-in socket for connection to an
external multimedia source such as an iPod
or MP3 player. Optional on all models.
RCD 510 radio system, RNS 315 navigation/radio system and
RNS 510 navigation/DVD radio system cannot be specified in
conjunction with each other. DVD playback will not function
whilst the navigation system is in use, or the vehicle is in motion.
RNS 510 touch-screen navigation/DVD radio system is fitted in
lieu of standard DAB digital radio receiver.

High Beam Assist ingeniously senses the
lights from oncoming vehicles and switches
between main and dipped beam accordingly.
It also senses vehicles you are approaching
from the rear and ensures dipped beam
is selected in order not to dazzle vehicles

The Multi Device Interface (MDI) with iPod and
USB cables enables you to connect and charge a
compatible device, while track selection is viewed
and selected via the vehicle’s radio system.

We’ve also designed a range of other energy-saving

technologies to work in synergy with our advanced
engines and gearboxes. BlueMotion Technologies
such as a multifunction computer including visual gear
change recommendation for optimum fuel consumption,
recuperation (battery regeneration during braking) and
a Start/Stop function that can cleverly switch the engine
off when your vehicle is stationary and in neutral and
start it again as you depress the clutch, all combine
to aid increased efficiency.

Three-year Warranty.
All Volkswagen new Tiguans come with a three-year/60,000 miles warranty, which protects your car against
the failure of most mechanical and electrical components due to manufacturing defects. This comprises a
two-year manufacturer’s warranty with unlimited mileage plus a further one-year/60,000 miles (whichever
is soonest) Retailer Warranty. Should the mileage exceed 60,000 miles within the first two years, the
manufacturer’s two-year warranty will still be valid. If an additional warranty for subsequent years or higher
mileage is desired, it may be purchased from an authorised Volkswagen retailer or repairer; however, this
additional warranty must be purchased before the mileage reaches 60,000*. Full details of the three-year

The paintwork of the new Tiguan is covered against manufacturing defects for a period of three years.

Volkswagen are pleased to offer you a choice on how your new Tiguan is serviced. The appropriate selection
is entirely dependent on how the car is likely to be driven and its general use. To help you identify which type
of service would be most suitable, please refer to the following guide.
The Time and Distance Service is recommended for vehicles that will cover less than 10,000 miles
in 12 months and if the vehicle is likely to be used in the following way:
