REMOTE ENGINE START PROGRAMMING INSTRUCTIONS

Vehicle Preparation
1. Outlander, and all Lancer based vehicles - Close all doors (inc. rear passenger’s doors and trunk lid).
Galant, Endeavor and Eclipse/Eclipse Spyder - Close all doors, and trunk lid/liftgate. Open the hood.
Outlander Sport – Instructions begin on page 2.
2. Remove the ignition key from the ignition key cylinder. (On vehicles with Keyless Operation System,
turn the ignition knob to LOCK (OFF) and remove the ignition knob cap.).
3. Insert the ignition key into the key cylinder.
For K.O.S. equipped vehicles, remove the emergency key from the transmitter and insert it into the key
cylinder.
