Dear Oxford Family,

In this letter we will be detailing the procedures that will be taking place for tomorrow, Tuesday
November 14 as per the current situation in the country allows. We will commence transitioning to
face-to-face classes with the aim to allow for students to have their classes and be able to reach home at
a reasonable time, regardless of road closures. Therefore, the schedule for tomorrow is as follows:

ALL STUDENTS MUST BE COLLECTED BY 2PM. We kindly ask for patience and consideration for others
during drop-offs and pick-ups in the school’s vicinity. Grade 6 to 12 will only have one recess, so please
bring a substantial meal as there will be no lunch period.

We are aware that some families may be facing extreme difficulties in mobilising outside of their homes,
thus we would like you to fill out this GOOGLE FORM so that we can offer support if necessary.
Department coordinators will be in contact with respondents.

Below we detail some information that is of interest as we approach the end of the school year:

● SUMMATIVES: The only formal tests that will be given to students will be their term exams. The
other summative assessments that will take place will be classwork and formative activities.
● CAMBRIDGE PROGRESSION EXAMS: Over the remaining part of the term, teachers will be
focusing on preparing for Cambridge Progression Exams of English, Maths and Science for the
pertaining grades.
● AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS: After school club provisions will be running until 5PM. Please contact
Siria to confirm your child’s attendance.
● EXTRACURRICULAR CLUBS: Clubs will be initiating from tomorrow. Schedules have been adapted
to meet school departure times. Siria will be emailing parents with specific information.
● GRADUATION FOR 9 AND 12: Graduation will take place on December 18 in Atlapa and the
practice will be on December 17. Further information will be sent out to 9 and 12 grade parents
and students as we near the date.

We will be informing parents of the schedule for Wednesday with a letter tomorrow.

Estimada Familia Oxford,

En esta carta estaremos detallando los procedimientos que se estarán llevando a cabo para mañana,
martes 14 de noviembre, mientras que la situación actual del país lo permita. Empezaremos a
transicionar a clases presenciales con el objetivo de permitir que nuestros estudiantes puedan tener sus
clases y llegar a sus casas en un tiempo razonable. Por ende, el horario de mañana es el siguiente:

y consideración hacia otros durante la hora de entrada y durante la recogida de estudiantes. Los grados 6
a 12 solo tendrán un recreo, por lo cual les pedimos que traigan una merienda considerable.

Estamos conscientes de que algunas familias tienen mucha dificultad en movilizarse fuera de sus casas, y
en ese caso por favor llenen este GOOGLE FORM para que podamos ofrecerles apoyo si sea necesario.
Los coordinadores de departamento estarán en contacto con los que llenen el formulario.

A seguir detallamos información de interés a medida que llegamos al final del año escolar:

● SUMATIVAS: Los únicos ejercicios formales que los estudiantes recibirán serán los exámenes
trimestrales. Las otras asignaciones con nota serán trabajos en clase y actividades formativas.
● CAMBRIDGE PROGRESSION EXAMS: Por el resto del trimestre, los maestros estarán enfocados
en preparar a los estudiantes de los grados que tomarán los Cambridge Progression Exams para
Inglés, Matemáticas y Ciencias.
● CLUBES DE AFTER SCHOOL: Provisiones para los clubes de after school estarán andando hasta
las 5PM. Por favor contacte a Siria para confirmar la asistencia de su hijo/a.
● CLUBES EXTRACURRICULARES: Los clubes iniciarán desde mañana. Los horarios han sido
adaptados para cumplir con las horas de salida del colegio. Siria estará mandando un correo a los
padres de familia con información en específico.
● GRADUACIÓN PARA 9 Y 12: La graduación se llevará a cabo el 18 de diciembre en Atlapa ya la
práctica el 17 de diciembre. Más adelante se enviará información a los pares y estudiantes de 9 y
12 cuando nos acerquemos a la fecha.

Estaremos notificando del horario para el miércoles el día de mañana con una carta.
