    1) Sh. Dharm Veer, a JE/P.way issued a rake fit memo without properly examining unloaded BOBYN cars after a ballast unloading operation between stations BJU and TGA. 2) Upon inspection after the memo was issued, it was discovered that approximately 25% of the ballast remained in one side of the 8th BOBYN car. 3) This remaining ballast was later unloaded in TGA Yard and another rake fit memo was issued at 4:00pm to allow the train's movement to the next block section.

    BT Unloading block was granted from BJU and block was to be cancelled at TGA. Unloading of
    ballast was planned in BJU-TGA UP Main Line.

    28 BOBYN Unloaded between OM 180/7 – 15 and OM 183/5 –


    184/29 in UP line. All doors in both side of all BOBYN were kept
    open during unloading at site. After unloading, I remained at
    site and rake moved at 14:25 for block cancellation. Block was
    cancelled at 14:35 and sectional PWI/BJU/ML, issued rake fit
    memo by considering that all doors were open during the block,
    hence there was no possibility of uneven unloading.

    But after checking of unloaded BOBYN, it was found that


    approximately 25 % ballast is remaining in one side of 8’th
    BOBYN from Engine.

    This remaining ballast was unloaded in TGA Yard UP Loop Line and Rake fit memo given at
    16:00 Hours for movement in next block section.
