Child Protection Officer to submit Socio-Economic status of the applicant who has applied for
taking temporary custody of a newborn baby from CPI, Lahore.

It is stated that the bureau team visited the applicant Mr. Umair Saed presently residing at House
# 26, Street # 47, Mohalla Nadeem Shaheed Road, Samanabad, Lahore. The said couple
interviewed on 08.03.2022. According to Mr. & Mrs. Umair Saed, they have following Socio–

  CPWB team conducted physical interview at House # 26, Street # 47, Mohalla
Nadeem Shaheed Road, Samanabad, Lahore on dated 08.03.2022. Couple Interview,
120 Minutes.

Prior Home Study:

The couple were asked if they were ever rejected as prospective adoptive parents, have been
subject of an unfavorable home study, have begun a home study process that was not completed
or if they ever completed a home study process before. They answered; NO to all questions.

Applicant 1:
Mr. Umair Saed Age 48 years was born on 30/01/1974 at Lahore CNIC # 35202-0786108-5. His
Occupation is Assistant Registrar at University of Engineering & Techonology, Lahore. His
monthly income is 75,000/-. His qualification is B.Com. He has 02 brothers. All are married and
are living happily.

Applicant 2:
Mrs Taiba Butt Age 42 years was born on 15/06/1980 at Lahore. She is a School Teacher at LGS
and her qualification is M.A English. She earns 50,000/- Pkr P/M. She belongs to Butt family of
Pakistan. Her CNIC # is 35202-3454417-2.

Marital Relationship:
They were married in 2008 at Lahore according to Muslim rituals. This is the first marriage for
Mr. Umair Saeed and the first marriage for Ms. Taiba Butt. It is learned that couple have arrange
marriage.
Motivation for Adoption:
The said couple is highly motivated towards adopting baby from CP&WB Lahore. The reason is
that they found the organization environment is very professional and in proper government
organization that is not available throughout the Pakistan. They stated that after visiting number
of Non-Profit Organizations, they found CPWB reasonable organization throughout Pakistan as
government department. Secondly, they want to adopt baby so that they would remain satisfy in
their future life. Further they want to spend their future life with their prospective child like real
parents.
Attitudes of Extended Family/Support System:
The attitude of the family members and relatives is very supportive towards the couple.

Finances:
The couple lives in 05 Marla double storey house at Samanabad Lahore shared with his Family.
The house has a 04 bedroom, 03 bathrooms, 1 lounge, and kitchen. They have 01 property of 05
Marla Plot valued 30 Lac at New Lahore City. They also have a 01 motorbike and gold about 04
Tolas. The couple also owns a Cultus car.

Adoption-:
The couple wants to adopt a newly born baby boy/girl whichever is suitable but most preferably
baby boy.
