4.1 Introductory Activity (5 minutes). ● Preliminary Activities
- Greetings
- Prayer
- Classroom management
- Attendance check
● Teacher will get a bondpaper and crampled it
● Teacher will ask a question
- Is it still the same as before?
- Do you believe that in every action we make there's a corresponding consequences?
4.2 Activity/Strategy ( 10 minutes). ● Introduce a short story or passage that clearly demonstrates a cause and effect
relationship.
● The teacher will ask a volunteer to read the short story
● The teacher will ask questions
- What do you think is the message of the story?
- What is the main lesson or moral of the story?
4.3 Analyis (10 minutes).
● The teacher will ask questions to the students

- What did Jack do to lose the trust of the villagers?


- How did the villagers' response change after the boy's repeated false alarms?
- What were the consequences that Jack received for his actions?
- What are the learnings from the story that you can apply in your life?
- How would you feel if someone you trust lied to you?

4.4 Abstraction (10 minutes). ● Cause and effect is a relationship between events or actions where one event (the cause)
brings about or leads to another event (the effect).
● A cause is an event, action, or condition that brings about or leads to another event or
outcome.
● Effect is the result, consequence, or outcome that occurs as a direct or indirect result of a
cause.
● Based on the information we have shared, there is always a corresponding effect to every
action we take.
● Cause is the action taken and the effect is the result of an action.

● The teacher will ask students for their own example of cause and effect

4.5 Application (15minutes). ● Teacher will group the class into 5 and let the students work with their groups.
● The teacher will provide an activity called "Cause and Effect Sorting"
● The teacher will explain the rules
● The teacher will provide each group 2 minutes to finalize their decision and paste the
chosen answer in the sorting center of their choice.
● Teacher will encourage the students to provide explanations to support their chosen
answer.

4.6 Assessment ( 5 minutes). ● Write C if the statement is an example of cause, and E if it is an effect.
