BACKGROUND + CHALLENGES
His parents raised him by
selling natural products
and opening a salon.
Johnny learned and
studied hair and makeup.

He went to try his luck in
Jakarta in the 1970s and
open his first business, his
first salon in 1978.
But unfortunately, Johhny
exprienced a lot of twists
and turns that become a
stumbling block for him.
In addition with his
struggles....
BUT!!
He didn’t gaved up just like that.
He is always optimistic and
rebuilds his business to success.

Johnny Andrean Salon,
Johnny decided to open a
opened a franchise in the
culinary field, Breadtalk.

Is an Indonesian cafe-restaurant
chain that specialized in donuts,
cofee, and frozen yogurt.
BACKGROUND OF
THE BUSINESS
After learning from the
BreadTalk franchise
business, Johhny felt like
developing his own is own
business in the culinary
field.

He and his team studied the

donut business, explores
the recipe, as well as
conduct market research
and sampling.
CHALLENGES
Although he did made J.CO
Donuts & Coffee, it didn’t
stand well like Breadtalk,
which was purchased from
other companies
BUT
SURPRISINGLY
After the day that the business
started, surprisingly 4 months
later, the business bloomed
and continue growing and
growing.
Such of a success!

The Branch
expanded

Indonesia to
other
different
neighboured
countries.

the countries that I pointed out to
the previous map that I show.
