Genre-wise work report.

❖ Dramatics-
● Won the Main Dramatics General Championship after 10 years.
● Also bagged the best actor, best actress, best script award in MDGC 2018
● Secured 2nd position in the street play GC
❖ Fine Arts-
● Secured 2nd position in Installation art general championship
● Maximum participation points (1st in participation) in both dry as well as wet
medium painting GCs
❖ Dance-
● Performed in dance GC – Gyrations, with a total participation of 24 dancers
● Participated in Dance Mania in Cult arcade 2018
❖ Literary Art-
● New Magazines have been brought to the lounge
● Books can be issued from the library using the google form
● Got 5th position in Creative Writing GC and Hindi wordgames GC respectively.
❖ Design-
● 2nd position in Hostel branding competition
● Secured 4th position in Design GC
❖ Music-
● Music inventory is currently updated with 1 amplifier, 3 connector cables, 2
guitar stands, 1 keyboard stand, 1 spike guard, 1 distortion pedal, 2
microphones. In addition to that the bass guitar, hi-hat of drums has been
repaired.
● Secured 5th position out of 18 competing hostels in the Music Arcade
❖ Film and Media-
● Bagged 3rd position in Music Video GC
● Won best production award in Music video GC
● Two of our music video won the best film in the music video arcade
❖ Speaking Art-
● Won 2nd position in English Debate GC
● Secured 5th position in English Poetry GC
❖ Photography-
● Conducted Photography and DSLR handling Workshops for the beginners
● Made photobooths for Gala Dinner and Tea party

Performing Art Festival- Our PAF ‘Kuttay’ won the best PAF Award. It also
bagged 10 out of 11 genres award.

Hostel Fest (Funn2shh)-

● Initiated H2’s Got Talent in which the talented hostelites got an

opportunity to present their talent in front of 400 hostelites. The event
was a huge success on the basis of no. of participants and the way
the audience reacted to them as well.
● Signed a deal with 6 Food Brands to provide a discount of 10% to
25% in the Hostel festival. There was a record sale of more than
₹52000 from the stalls in the fun2shh

Miscellaneous-
● Organised wing photoshoot and successfully conducted for the wings
who were interested to do it
● Frequent screening of important IPL matches and international
matches as well
● Organised a Resume making and intern apping session for the
sophomores
● Organised a hostel trip to Bhandardara Dam preceding with Kalsubai
trek
● Celebrated Independence Day, Republic Day, Diwali, Holi, Matkiphod,
Lohri, Ganesh Chaturthi in the hostel.
