I will explain the difference between memo and email :

1. Memo : contains messages/information used for internal communication between colleagues or

employees, or between superiors and subordinates.

Memo have the following characteristics:

a. Relatively shorter, concise, concise and clear

b. Usually directly states the sender's intent without opening and closing

c. For internal communications only; can not used to convey messages to other people in other

companies/organization

d. Can be mass communication, used for send information to many insiders the same

company/organization.

2. Email : Email have the following characteristics:

a. Relatively longer than a memo

b. Has sections including opening, contents, and closing

c. Can be used both for communication purposes internal to the organization/company or

externally with outside parties

d. It is a form of communication interpersonal, addressed to parties or clients certain
