 A four-stroke engine, as the name suggests, has a
piston that goes through four strokes (or two
crankshaft revolutions) to complete one full cycle;
the intake, compression, power and exhaust
stroke.

ONE CAM SHAFT

Designing of 3d model in autocad
 Piston: A piston is a moving disk enclosed in a cylinder
 Crank Shaft: A crankshaft is a shaft driven by a crank mechanism
 Connecting rod: A connecting rod is the part of a piston engine which connects the piston to the
crankshaft.
 Make 2d sketch of piston
 Use “revolve: command to make it 3d
 Use “ subraction” command to produced hole

Piston
 Make 2D sketch of connecting rod
 Draw a circle on both side of connecting rod
 Then “join “ and” region” the connecting rod
 Use “ extrude command “

connecting rod
 Draw 2D front of crank shaft
 Use “ extrude “ command
 Then copy object and last mirror object
 Use “UCS “ correctly

Crank Shaft
 Draw piston ring, internal rod and screw
 Command used “sweep” and “extrude” etc

Piston ring
Complete 3D Model
 Rendering
 Go to visualize
 Change background
 Apply some materials from Autodesk material library
 Rendered model
