Is Lookism Worth Reading?

(Its review)
Lookism is among the best manhwa I have read thus far, it was my third manhwa
that I read, and this was one of the reasons that I started to read manhwa. As I
realize that there are more masterpieces hidden in this vast internet.
Lookism is a South Korean manhwa written and illustrated by Taejun Park. It is
been serialized on Naver Webtoon since 2014 and has collected 447 chapters and it
is still publishing because the main war or story isn’t started yet.
It follows the story of Daniel Park, who is very unattractive (and seriously he is
like a pig), and because of his looks, he is discriminated against by society and
bullied. As he shifts to a new school (because he is bullied so much) he discovers
that he has two bodies, one that is handsome and popular (new one), and the other
that is ugly and bullied (old one). He uses his two bodies to explore the different
ways that people treat him based on his appearance.
The theme of this masterpiece explores, how people who are considered to be
attractive are treated differently than those who are not. It also explores the ways
that people can use their appearance to their advantage (my personal favorite
theme)
For some people, this theme or idea is a type of boring so they drop the series on
the first 30 or some keep it 100 but they drop out, my recommendation is that you
at least try to read it till 160 or 200 because after that but slowly they change this
lovely, motivation or something like that to turn it into some type of war (not a war
against a high school student but a war like generations vs generations, or
organizations vs gangs or crews), and to think of that point of view, Taejun Park
has so many big plans for the future.
My recommendation is, this is the must-watch, no must-read manhwa which truly
worth your time (only one thing is bad, and that is girls, I truly hate them from the
bottom of my heart).
