It was a month or two ago when I was with my friend, we were talking

about manhwas when he says ‘I think that the worst sport manhwa is
probably Wind Breaker’ At that moment I think ‘Is it or is it not’ then
gone on the journey to read it and here is my review.

So first let’s start with the introduction, the creator of Wind Breaker is
Yongseok Jo, he is a South Korean webtoon artist who also created
manhwas like Boxer and the God of High School.

Wind Breaker is a sport manhwa about cycling, that has been serialized
on Naver Webtoon since 2013. The story follows a high school student
Jay, who is forced into joining the school’s cycling team (btw he is a
type of professional cyclist between amateur street cyclists who join the
competition and his uncle is actually a professional cyclist), the
Hummingbird Crew. Jay is initially unwilling to join the team, but he
eventually comes to love cycling and the friends he makes on the team.
Yongseok Jo is a former cyclist himself, and he brings his own
experiences to the story and as a result, the cycling scenes in the
manhwa feel authentic and exciting. He is also a talented artist and his
art style is beautiful and dynamic.
Now my opinion time, it art style is different from the start but changes
or gets a little different every season but it was unnoticed until season
three when his art style actually evolved into something and it is for
good (which some people don’t like but I like it).

To be honest, the story is well-written and engaging, it is full of action,

drama, and humor. The characters are well-developed and relatable,
they don’t fully focus on race instead they focused more on the
character’s life which truly matters.

The character which I like is Jay, apart from him is Vinny which is a
detailed character and I was emotionally connected to him. The
character which I hate the most is Jay’s mother (and why I hate her is
the thing you will know once you will read it).

And the question ‘Is it the worst manhwa?’ and my answer is no it isn’t,
but the events or things are sometimes dragged to be long that at some
chapters it becomes boring, and they focus more on the character’s life
instead of races which make disappoint fans who want to watch race,
and as you know that everyone has not the same opinion so somebody
will like it and some not, but I really enjoyed it and I recommend to
anyone who is finding a fun sport manhwa.
