    PRESS RELEASE

    SPECIAL CAMPAIGN 3.0 IS IN FULL SWING TO ACHIEVE THE TARGETS


    To commemorate the 154th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi,‘Swachhata Hi Seva’
    3.0 Campaign has been organized by the Government of India. The Swachhata Hi Seva
    Campaign has been celebrated to undertake “Shramdaan” activities with the aim of generating a
    “Jan Andolan” through the community participation and has commenced special cleanliness
    drive till 31.10.2023 with active involvement of students, teachers and community to spread the
    message of cleanliness, sanitation and hygiene in the society.
    All CBSE officers, employees and affiliated schools enthusiastically participated in all the
    events and sanitation activities in the Cleanliness Drive – “Ek Tareekh Ek Ghanta Ek Sath”
    conducted on 01.10.2023 at 10:00 am. The sites chosen for cleanliness drive activities were
    Garbage Vulnerable Points, Railway tracks and Stations, Areas surrounding schools, Slums,
    under bridges, Market spaces etc.

    As a part of Special Campaign 3.0, CBSE Schools have been requested to organize various
    cleanliness activities under special cleanliness drive till 31.10.2023 and organize Swachhata
    Pledge and competitions such as Essay/Slogan/Poem writing, Painting, Quiz etc on cleanliness
    and hygiene practices in the schools.
