Fabric Suggestions
It is recommended to use a comfortable woven fabric that can
hold it’s shape. Any type of jacquard, cotton, linen, satin fabric
would be suitable.

Fabric Requirements
You will need 2 meters / 2.3 yards of fabric which includes the lining.

Construction

This is my favorite video that explains how to sew corsets

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c1Gp05TPGcU

Step 1 - Print out the pattern piece and tape it together.

Cut out your desired fabric, make sure you have
prewashed your fabric to prevent shrinkage.

Step 2 - With right sides facing, pin and sew all the
bodice seams together using a 1/2” seam allowance.
You should have one long bodice where the last back
seam is left free. Do this for the lining and main fabric.
Step 3 - With right sides facing, pin and sew the lining to
the bodice fabric using a 1/2” seam allowance, around
the armholes, neckline, and the back seam. Clip and
pull/turn the whole top to the right side.

Step 4 - With right sides together, place the front and back together and
sew the shoulder seam using a 1/2” seam allowance and finish the seam.
Step 5 - Make panels and insert boning or zip ties. I have shown this on
one seam here but you need to repeat for all seams. To make panels
you will sew two parallel stitches at either end of the seams. Cut the
boning so it’s slightly shorter than the hem of the top and insert. Once
you’ve completed all the seams, use bias binding to finish the raw edge
of the hem of the top.

Step 7 - Attach grommets into the back of the top and thread ribbon
through to make the closure.
