Features of UEC Eco-Engine


The best engine for reduction of running cost and slow steaming,
which are strongly requested in the recent market.

1. Lower fuel oil consumption


-Reduction of fuel oil consumption by approx. 1~2% compared to mechanical engine

2. Slow steaming
-Continuous operation down to 20%Load without time limit
(Change of fuel injection valve and regular load-up operation are NOT necessary)
-Reduction of fuel oil consumption at low load by LLO* mode
(*) Low Load Optimization

3. Higher reliability
-Excellent service experience of the first Eco-Engine about 10 years (No shut down)
-Development by J-ENG own technologies = No black box

4. Lower cylinder oil consumption


-Reduction of cylinder oil consumption by A-ECL system as standard application
