SCHOOL VISION & MISSION
RTE Act 2009: Free and compulsory education to all children of India in the 6 to 14 age group.
SAMAGRA SHIKSHA: The vision of the Scheme is to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education from pre-school to
senior secondary stage in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) for Education.
NEP 2020: Aims to increase the GER to 100% in preschool to secondary level by 2030.
SDG: Goal 4 is the education goal, It aims to “ensure inclusive & equitable quality education & promote lifelong learning
opportunities for all”.

❖ To achieve the targets of National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, RTE Act 2009, Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)
& Samagra Shiksha Scheme
❖ It is fulfil the education requirements of the School Catchment area
❖ Participatary planning, in other words involve all key stakeholders including community in the plan preparation and
review every month by SMC/SMDC/Parent committee.
❖ Targets are to be continuosly achieving as per the time lines and build the strong future to our children.
❖ Short and long term plans to be developed by School
❖ Plan will include human, learning, physical, financial resources, improvement initiatives, school culture initiatives,
teacher development plans, and educational outcomes.
❖ School Development Plan (SDP) will be created by principals and teachers and School Management Committee.
❖ Documentation and sharing of best practices.

School Development Plan Preparation Guidelines
Govt and Aided management Schools head masters must develop school development plan in coordination with their School management committee / parent committee and submit it to concerned head master,
who is preparing habitation education plan.
Write the School Short Term and Long Term Goal to achieve the objectives of RTE Act 2009, NEP 2020, SDG Goals.
There are 22 items in the school development plan.
Section 1 - School basic information
Section 2 - School Report Card (UDISE 2022-23) (as on 30th September 2021) - School Profile, Staff, Enrolment, Facilities etc., particulars to be filled by extracting the School Report Card (UDISE 2022-23) from the
portal https://src.udiseplus.gov.in/ by entering the school UDISE code.
Section 3 - Students are coming from Residential Hostels - Class wise & Gender wise student’s particulars.
Section 4 - Out of school children Special training centers wise details (NRSTC, RSTC, Bhavitha centers etc) including CWSN (NRSTC, RSTC) children particulars to be filled.

THE RIGHT OF CHILDREN TO FREE AND COMPULSORY EDUCATION ACT, 2009 - Norms
1. Schools
a) Primary School: Atleast 200 population in the village and minimum 20 school age (5-10) children in the habitation, a school shall be established within a walking distance of one km of the neighborhood.
b) Upper Primary School: Atleast 25 children available to join in class 6 children in the habitation and there is no access to upper primary school within three kilometers radius in the habitation, a school shall
be established within a walking distance of three km of the neighborhood.
2. Teachers
As per the norms of RTE, atleast 2 teachers in primary school, one teacher for each class for upper primary and recruit additional teachers as per below conditions.
Primary, Upper Primary Schools required teaching staff based on the student enrolment. The details as follows:

❖ There is a provision in the Samagra Shiksha for school repairs.
❖ Eligibility for repairs: atleast complete 10 years life span of the building.
❖ As per the approved budget, funds will be released to all sanctioned reapairs.
