TOOL FOR ASSESSMENT OF KNOWLEDGE, PERCEIVED SKILLS AND ATTITUDES

Please answer the following by checking the appropriate boxes indicating your level of
agreement with each of the statements indicated herein. Your degree of agreement or
disagreement with each statement will be interpreted as your level of certainty on: (1) the
accuracy of your knowledge, (2) your perceived confidence in performing the indicated skill; and

1. A person with disability is one who is suffering from restriction
or different abilities, as a result of mental, physical, or
sensory impairment, to perform an activity in the manner or
within the range considered normal for a human being.

2. Disability results from the interaction between persons with


impairments and attitudinal and environmental barriers that
hinders their full and effective participation in society on an
equal basis with others.

3. Persons with disabilities face challenges in participating


socially in DRRM in their community and tend to be invisible.
