CHOCOLATE CREAM FINGERS

No of portions - 8nos
Baking time - 30 mins
Baking Temperature- 150°C

Ingredients
Refined flour 140gms
Cocoa Powder 30gms
Margarine 85gms
Powder sugar 85gms
Egg 1no
Milk (cold) 15ml
Baking powder 1/4th tsp
Vanilla essence 1tsp (5ml)
Butter Icing Filling
Margarine 20gms
Icing sugar 40gms

Method: (Creaming Method)

1. Sieve flour and cocoa and baking powder.


2. Cream margarine and sugar till light and fluffy.
3. Add lightly beaten egg and vanilla essence and mix well.
4. Add flour and cocoa mixture gradually, beating well, to a smooth paste.
5. Pipe 16 nos on to a greased baking tray with a large star nozzle into 2 inch fingers.
6. Bake in a moderate oven at 150° C for 30 minutes. Cool.
7. Sandwich two fingers together butter icing.
