and fat for other uses. Glucose energy
is stored as glycogen, with the
majority of it in the muscle and liver.
MICRO-NUTRIENTS

1. Iron The body requires iron to create
the proteins myoglobin, which
oxygenates muscles, and
hemoglobin, which is found in
red blood cells and delivers
oxygen from the lungs to all
areas of the body.
