Reflection

1. Would you like to teach in the school environment of child and adolescent development?
How does this relate to your knowledge of facilitating learning?

Absolutely, yes, as a future educator, our task is to help children to improve and learn. I
must say that there is a lot of factors that affects student’s development inside or outside the
classroom. Furthermore, as a future educator, our goal is to aid those factors and adjust to give
the needs of our students.

2. What kind of school campus is conducive to learning?

A school campus is conducive to learning if the campus have enough and complete
facilities where it can support the student’s needs. A well functioned facilities can boost
student’s development most especially nowadays everything is well advance, including the
emerging of the technologies where technologies help us/student to improve what they have
right now. When it comes to daily life routine the use of different devices is now more
convenient to do some task. And for example, in science class, of course laboratory is the
most important room where there is a lot of technologies to be used in experiment.

3. What kind of classroom is conducive to learning?

A Classroom that is conductive to learning is a room where the chairs are properly arrange,
the floor is clean, the fans are well functioned, and of course the classroom should be a child
friendly classroom. Because being with someone you don’t really know of course as a student
you really need to experience or feel that you are free and feel same inside of the classroom.

Reflection

1. Which personal traits do I possess? Where do I need improvement in?

The personal traits that I possess are skills in communication, collaboration, adaptability,
patience and good listener. But of course, I know to myself that I still have some skills that I
need to improve and I believe that there is always a room for improvement where I can
expand the get more experience to overcome my weaknesses.

2. Which professional competencies am I strongly capable of demonstrating?

The professional competencies that I strongly capable of demonstrating are critical

thinking, professionalism, communication, and teamwork. As a future educator this
competencies should we possessed to become effective instructor.

3. In which competencies do I need to develop more?

Honestly speaking, the competencies that I need to develop more is

communication skills. We have diver’s learner where of course here in the Philippines
we have a numerous language. And as a future educator it is our duty to communicate
and deliver learning and as much as we can.
