1. Introduction
Partner Portal - on demand market intelligence place - serves as a high quality source of
information, for all stakeholders to improve efficiency and performance. Product is
designed to evaluate & on board elite partners to engage in prolific business with L&T.
This document addresses the registration & on boarding of new partners who wish to do
business with L & T. It also addresses the account activation and on boarding process of
existing partners already doing business with L & T.

The following diagram describes the flow to activate account of existing partners on
partner portal website. The existing partners will get a welcome message with a link in
their email registered with L & T to activate their account in the new partner portal. The
OTP will be sent to the mobile number registered with L & T.

After a new partner is registered or an existing partner has activated his account, he can
access his Partner Portal account by logging in to Partner Portal website using his
credentials.
The login will open the on boarding dashboard for the partner.
For Suppliers, select between Manufacturer, Distributor & Retailer. Partner can choose
only one among the options.

For Service Providers, select from the options given - Labour Contractor, Specialized
Contractor, Equipment Hiring Contractor, Professional Services Contractor and
Transportation Services Contractor. Partners can choose more than one, if applicable.

The existing business type, primary business & secondary business types will be shown
here.
For Suppliers, if business type is not already registered with L & T, click on Edit Business
Type in Select Business Type Section to register the business type. Select appropriate
business type and click on submit. If business type is already registered with L & T, Select
Business Type button will be disabled.
For Service Providers, clicking on Edit Business Type in Select Business Type section will
enable them to register their business type if not already registered and if the business
type is already registered with L & T, they can still add new business type, if required.

If the partner wishes to view or add secondary businesses, he can click on View/Add New
Business button under the Secondary Businesses Section.

To add any category, Select Business type, Categories, Sub-categories from the dropdown
and click on blue tick to submit. Multiple businesses can be added by clicking on Add New
Business Button.
The new partner has to fill in his details in all the modules displayed to complete his
profile. Information of existing partners which is already available with L & T has been
migrated to the partner portal. The existing partner has to fill in missing details of all the
modules displayed to update his profile. Also, the existing partner can edit the pre-

existing data, if required. Questions marked with asterisk (*) are mandatory, rest are
optional.
Profile has to be completed separately for each business type. Organization level details
which are common for every business type need to be filled in only once and will reflect
across each business type. Information in the profile which is business specific need to be
filled in for each business type.
There are 10 modules to be completed for completing the profile. These modules belong
to different functional area.

Statutory Information
Incorporated as - Fill in the type of firm from the dropdown options.
Options are – 1. Govt. Sector 2. MSME 3. Partnership 4. Private Ltd. 5. Proprietorship
6. Public Ltd. 7. Public Sector Undertaking. 8. Others
Year of Incorporation – Fill in the year of Incorporation
Place of Incorporation – Fill in the place of Incorporation
CIN Number – Fill in the CIN Number (If company is not incorporated as MSME)
MSME Details – If company is incorporated as MSME, then select
Manufacturing/Services. If selected manufacturing, provide details of investment in plant
and machinery. If selected services, provide details of investment in equipments. Provide
MSME Number and MSME effective period.
GST Number – Fill in the GST Number if available, else provide relevant documents for
explaining why GST Number has not been taken.
DUNS Number – Provide DUNS Number if available
PF Registration ID – Fill in PF Registration ID and select appropriate Regional Office if
available, else provide Employee Count.
ESI Registration ID – Fill in ESI Registration ID and select appropriate ESI Registration
Office if available, else provide remarks on why ESI Registration ID is not taken.

Contact Details captures contact details of partner’s organization. Fill in the details of
key persons. Partners can add more than one contact by clicking on Add Contact.
Factory Details captures factory details of partner’s factories. (Only for manufacturers).
Partners can add more than one factory by clicking on Add Factory

Bank Account Details captures partner’s bank details. Partners can add more than one
account by clicking on Add Bank Account.
*The information of existing partners already available with L & T is migrated to partner
portal and will reflect here. Existing Partner can edit the existing data or add new data.

5.1.1.3. Credentials
Major Customers Fill in the details of major customers. Customer’s name, the years of
partnership, revenue generated in these years and reference of any key person there.
Partners can add more than one customer’s details by clicking on Add Customer.

Key Suppliers/Service Providers
Fill in the details of key suppliers or service providers of the partner.
Business Structure
Attach relevant documents giving description of subsidiaries, sister concern, parent
company etc. of partner’s company.

Business Verticals in regions you can partner – Business Type – Captures the already
filled in business type at the time of registration.
Business Vertical – Select the Business Vertical of L & T with whom the partner wishes to
do business with.
Partner can add more than one Business Vertical by clicking on Add Business Verticals.
Have you been or are you a partner with any other division of L & T If the partner
has worked with any other division of L & T other than the one with whom he wishes to
do business now, select Yes, else No.
How did you get to know about partner portal? Select a type of reference from the
dropdown as applicable.

Does your organization have any branches If Yes, please fill in the details, else select
No. Partners can select more than one branch by clicking on Add Branch.
Partner cannot proceed to Financial module unless General module is completed. The
following error will be displayed if Partner navigates to Financial module without
completing General module.

giving proof of the association.

business with them Mention the details of the bankers. Partners can add more than one
by clicking Add Banker.

Rating by any Rating Agency Choose the Rating Agency from the drop down and fill in
the rating awarded and attach the relevant certificate. Partners can add more than one
by clicking on Add Rating.
Does your firm has possibility of merger or take-over by any of your competition
or new entrants or group companies If Yes, please provide details in Remarks, else
select No.
Partner cannot move to other modules without completing General & Financial modules.
Following error message will be displayed, if partner tries to navigate to other modules
without completing General & Financial modules.
5.1.3. Quality
Do you have an in-house quality system in place If Yes, attach the relevant documents
giving proof of in-house quality system, else select No.

Do you have designated quality representative If Yes, give the Person’s Name,
Designation, Mobile Number and Email id, else select No.

applicable only for Manufacturers and Distributors)

name, issuing authority, issue date, expiry date and attach the certificate, else select No.
Can the supplier guarantee that the purchaser can safely eliminate incoming
inspection If Yes, provide description of any green supplier agreement and attach the
agreement as proof, else select No. (This question is applicable only for Manufacturers)

5.1.6.3. Sustainability

non-conflict sources? If Yes, attach the relevant documents as proof, else select No.

After the final approval, the dashboard for the partner gets created.

5.4. Dashboard
Once the on boarding is complete and dashboard is created, partner can access the
dashboard through his login. On the first login, Code of Conduct Declaration appears in
the dashboard. Partner to click I Accept. This declaration appears once in each financial
year.
The profile of the partner is now complete. The partner can now view all his details
through Dashboard. Partner Dashboard is explained in a separate document.
6. Chatbot LiLA
LiLA stands for L&T interactive and learning assistance, it is an interactive chatbot for
your assistance that can be used to clear any queries/issues/doubts/questions you have
on Partner Portal while using it. The logo of Ask LiLA appears on the bottom right corner
of the screen and will answer the queries related to the page opened. LiLA can be used in
English, Hindi, Tamil & Telugu languages.
