about Quality and testing in a Manufacturing
environment. Your role will assist the department
in preparation for BBA audit and ISO 9001.

Throughout this time you will receive on the job

training and you will also receive external training
to gain your Slip Skid Testing accreditation. You
can expect to get real life, hands on experience
and learn as you go. You will be supported
and mentored through work participation and
external training. You will gain experience in all
aspects of Quality and Testing compliance.

• Standing / walking throughout the shift.

• Lifting devises are available, however there is repetitive manual handling throughout the shift.
• Maintain knowledge of Production/machine operation/quality inspection
• Requirement to move safely in confined spaces.
• Any other reasonable duties that may be assigned in line with business needs.
• Requirement to drive a forklift – entry and exit of the truck
• The requirement to wear Personal protective gear during your shift.

Essential Desirable

Qualifications • A good standard of Education- ideally 5 GCSE’s – grade C and above • Slip/skid test certified
• Other quality related certifications
• Forklift trained (however accredited

Support
During your role you can expect to get real-life, hands-on experience and
learn as you go. You will be supported and mentored through job shadowing
and work participation.

Training will include (and not limited to):

• When you start with us your first week will involve your initial Health and Safety,
Quality, IT and HR Induction and in-house accredited Forklift training.
• You will also receive a full 6-week Induction and Onboarding plan to include:
• How to safely operate equipment and machinery
• How to safely work around Production
• Manual handling
• Forklift training
• How to use a tablet and our internal computerised systems.
• You will also receive Pendulum Training (1 day) to be accredited and competent
in carrying out our in-house slip skid testing. You will understand the legislation
around slip skid and British standards and guidelines that Tobermore adhere to.
• You will also receive in-house product strength test training using a compression
machine.
• This role will be based at Tobermore Production Yard in the Testing Lab and your
hours of work will be Monday to Friday 7am to 5.30pm (47.5 hours per week)

You will have ongoing coaching and support from your line manager
and team colleagues. Your Manager will check in at the end of each
week to discuss your ongoing development and feedback
