surprised, decides to open it and the ghost of his father appears.

– Ghost: My son, please, do not fear, I am your father! I was murdered by Claudius, who did it to
become the new king of Denmark.

– Hamlet: (shocked) father I did not think my uncle was capable of killing you, I am very sorry for
your unfortunate situation, I swear I will avenge your death!

– Ghost: I hope so my dear Hamlet, recover your honor and face the enemy, who also seduced your
mother and made her his wife.

 ACT 2

Narrator: after the unexpected meeting, he goes to Horacio's house, in the center of the city, to tell
him what happened.

– Hamlet: Hello Horace, how are you? Sorry I'm coming to your house at this time, but something
strange happened to me while I was in my room.

– Horace: Calm down Hamlet, tell me what has happened to you?, because I don't see you at all
well.

– Hamlet: I saw the ghost of my father, and he revealed to me that he was murdered by my uncle
Claudio.
– Horace: Hamlet, that image is part of your imagination. Remember that you have been in a very
tense environment during these days.
– Hamlet: I'm not crazy, I'm sure it was him. Now you question me, I will find out until I find the
answer.

 ACT 3

Narrator: During a celebration in the castle, the prince convinces one of his servants to attract
attention by shouting, that the king had been murdered. A strategy with which he thought to analyze
the behavior of his uncle Claudio.

– Servant: King Hamlet was murdered! Just as you listen! He was murdered!

– Claudio: (looks down) gets a little nervous and orders the guard to capture the man after making
such a scandal.

– Narrator: Hamlet observes the uncle's body posture, which is not normal; this makes him deduce
that the ghost's confession was true.

– Gertrudis: son, are you okay, after hearing such barbarity?

– Hamlet: to be honest I haven't been for a long time, nor do I feel comfortable with the marital
union between you and my uncle Claudio. In fact, I am not surprised by what the servant said, on
the contrary, it confirms my theory that it was Claudio who murdered my father.

– Gertrude: (surprised) Hamlet, what terrible accusation are you making!? Be careful son; don't
lose your head, without having proof of such a foul act like that.

– Narrator: the prince left the meeting, he does not even say goodbye to his beloved Ofelia. The
celebration ends quickly because of what happened.

 ACT 4

– Narrator: One day after the celebration, Queen Gertrude goes to Hamlet's room in Kronborg
Castle to talk with him.

– Gertrudis: Hamlet last night I thought about what you mentioned about Claudio, but I think your
strange behavior is because I married him.

– Hamlet: I never agreed to the wedding, nor did my father mourn. Now everything points to Uncle
Claudio putting together the plan to stay on the throne.

– Narrator: suddenly footsteps are heard behind the curtains. Hamlet sees the figure of a man and
thinking that he was Claudius, he kills Polonius, Chamberlain of the kingdom.
– Gertrudis: (cries) Halemt, what have you done!? You need help my son; you have killed
Polonius in your madness of excessive revenge.

– Narrator: Gertrude informs Claudius of what has happened, who punishes Hamlet by expelling
him from Denmark to England with the aim of killing him. Ophelia, daughter of Polonius, panics
when she learns that Hamlet, the man she loved, was capable of killing her father. She cannot
control her emotions and decides to take her own life by drowning herself in a lake.
 ACT 5

– Narrator: Leartes, son of Polonius, wasn’t in Denmark and, upon his return to the country, he
heard the tragic news, which Claudio took advantage of.

– Claudio: my dear Leartes, I must inform you with great sorry that Hamlet killed Polonius without
mercy, nor respect for you, nor for the deceased Ophelia.

– Leartes: what he did to my father is outrageous, stabbing him with no remorse, how much I hate
Hamlet! I also lost my sister because of him.

– Claudio: avenge the death of your family. Prince Hamlet does not deserve to live, lately he
rejected Ophelia, who loved him so much and now, and now he even dared to kill Polonius.

– Narrator: Claudio recommends Leartes to invite Hamlet to Ophelia's funeral, to make him
believe that there was no rancor between them and to be able to set a trap for him.

 ACT 6

- Narrator: Hamlet arrives in Denmark, writes to Leartes, accepts his proposal and meets with him.
The Learters puts poison on the edge of the sword to make sure to kill him at the first opportunity,
but also adds some of the dangerous liquid in a wine glass.

- Hamlet: (surprised) I'm sorry Leartes, I didn't know Ophelia passed away, she was always there
for me, but I distanced myself.

- Leartes: you didn't know how to value my sister's love, you acted like a "soul in pain" and,
besides, you dared to kill my father, Ophelia couldn't stand it, but I will take revenge (draws his
sword).

- Hamlet: Are you challenging me to a duel?

- Leartes: Yes, let's fight, fight like a man!

- Narrator: Leartes wounds Hamlet in the side, however, he is still alive and manages to respond
with a thrust that injures his opponent. At that moment Gertrude approached, taking the glass of
wine that Leartes had left in the next room, and barely managed to see the fight, when she fell to the
floor, dying of poison.

- Leartes: (sad) this is Claudio's fault, he convinced me to take revenge on you for my father's
death, and he took advantage of my emotions.

- Narrator: further behind Gertrude, came King Claudius and, in the midst of the impotence of
seeing his mother agonizing, Hamlet takes strength before dying and kills his uncle by piercing him
with his sword.

End.
