ENGLISH HOMEWORK

1st Assignment: SEMESTERS SUMMARY

The fourth year as civil engineering student, we have attacked too many topics and units
during our English classes.

The first semester, we have learned different types of sentences such as complex, simple,
compound and dependent ones. As civil engineers, we had also the opportunity to know
the variety of materials used in this field, these types are used often in buildings and
other projects (concrete, steel, aluminum, wood, glass …); and others, for example
(leather, plastic, rubber ...).

We had other units such as drawings, design development, technical development and
materials technology where we gained too much information and vocabulary.

What was also interesting is the presentations about many subjects concerning civil
engineering, my personal subject was ELECTRICITY IN BUILDING where I learned too
much technical information.

The second semester was a bit different, as we are future engineers, we must master too
many papers works and oral ones, first of all how to write a clean and a good CV or
resume about our career, and how to do a successful job interview.

2ND Assignment: Introducing myself for a job interview

Hello, I am Soufiane Rouissa a freshly graduated civil engineer from EMSI, I have also a
bachelor degree on physics studies at the university, my last year final project was about
resolving too many problems we found during my worksite presence, modeling,
calculations, and I was present and the majority of that project evolution, I guess I am
fully ready for this new adventure with your company.
About my strengths, I have captaincy in my blood, I am a fast learner and very hungry to
learn more and evolve myself during my worktime with you Insha’Allah, I see myself
going upward and take high and more responsibilities. I am fit for anything.
My only weakness is getting angry sometimes on delicate situations and we get
overwhelmed with heavy workload but I control myself and I won’t show any issue about
that.
My nature likes to work in field and get fast relations with my team and get the work
done in a very optimal time.
