Fun Things in the Classroom

Since I do not have a classroom yet and I am just a substitute I will tell you fun things I

have done in those classrooms. I regularly sub for a first grade teacher at Sunflower Elementary.

She does so many fun things for her class that they love. My favorite thing about her class is how

well supported the children are. They think of me as another teacher for them and I love going

into her class. The best activity we have done in this class is called M & M. This is where the

children get a cup of m&m’s and they have to create a picture with them. The kids loved doing

this one because they got to teach it after but two because they were able to use their creative

control over whatever they were wanting to create. They were laughing and giggling the whole

time on what they were creating. The kids overall loved this activity, while I did not take any

pictures you can imagine what these first graders created.
