I want to become a teacher so that I can make a real difference in children's lives. I take the task of
developing young people into kind, thoughtful and contributing adults very seriously. I have always been
so grateful to my teachers and the educational system for making me the person that I am today.
What are you most excited to share about your culture to American students ?
An Indian teacher might respond with enthusiasm and a desire to foster understanding and appreciation
for their culture. The response could go something like this:
"I am most excited to share the rich tapestry of traditions, history, and diversity that India has to offer.
Our culture is incredibly vast and varied, and I look forward to introducing American students to the
vibrant colors of festivals like Diwali and Holi, the delicious array of Indian cuisine with its myriad of

I want to showcase the unity in diversity that defines India. I hope to impart a sense of the cultural
